Hi, interesting sounding thread, can I put myself forward as a pilot for the Hammer fleet?

Name: Andy Knight
Callsign: Templar
Aircraft: F/A2 Sea Harrier
Armamant: fixed 30mm ADEN cannon, capable of carrying air to air and air to surface missiles.
Special tactics: VIFFing. The ability to vector thrust from forward flight to vertical whilst in motion.
Description: 5'6, short dark hair, dark eyes, stocky.
Background: Knight was serving onboard the Royal Navy carrier HMS Invincible at the time of the melt. Separated from the rest of the fleet, the ship eventually came under attack from pirates whil Knight was out on a scouting mission, searching for the rest of the fleet. On his return, he discovered the Invincible burning, adrift. He was eventually picked up by Admiral Thorsem and his fleet, and has served since as a solid, dependable pilot. He may not think of himself as an ace, flying a top of the range interceptor, but his skill and the Sea Harriers agility have accounted for a fair number of enemy pilots. Knight doesnt see Thorsem and his fleet as pirates, but survivors, and he has an intense hatred of any pirate groups unfortunate enough to cross his sights.

Hope thats acceptable to everyone. Being from the UK, I thought a UK designed and built aircraft would be an interesting addition! Hope to gun you all down soon!

The size of the fleet, Captain Rolf is going to need compatent men or women to command individul ships, so we make the best use of men and material.

What is left of the Hawaniian Islands would be an excelent place to set up operations and it is in the Pacfic. It is supposed to have a fresh water supply and a small populace we could recruit to join us.

I have dipated the Ageis destroyer and a friggate to make recon and to report back on their finding before we bring our main force forward. We are also checking the west coast of South America from Chile to Ecudor. Ther may be areas that can be used like the fjords of norway. We shall see.

I think Knights skills are best used up in the air, might be best to have a full time commander for the carrier. Other than that, the Harrier is fuelled and ready to launch!

Backround: her father was an expert fighter pilot and taught Cameron everything he knew or as much as he could. Her mother died when she was young and just before the ice caps melted her father was on a reutine flight over the bermuda triangle when he said he saw a strange green light. In the backround you could hear a blast then silence....
