Faith: there are no "rules" for editing your own post. You can go back at any time and edit any of the posts you have made. You can't edit some one else's post, and no one else can edit yours (makes sense), but that is about it. Now, if you make a significant change in a past post, one that could impact how a fellow player may react to you, then you may wish to PM that person and let him/her know that they need to re-read your post. Editing a post is done at your discretion - though sometimes you may feel the need to edit something, based on what is going on in the story at large.

Sarah: not to worry. And being from England certainly doesn't mean that you must have every Shakespearean play memorized! :) There are several characters to select from, and you are the one who makes them "minor" or "major". Even Lady Macbeth could be a minor role - though that could be a stretch. First, I would need to know how you see your character - romantic, "bitchy", a fairy-like creature, funny? Let me know, and I will PM some ideas for you. Off the cuff, some of my personal favorites are Beatrice ("Much Ado About Nothing"), Hero (from the same play), Ophelia ("Hamlet"), and Desdemona ("Othello"). All are lovely women, with the "strongest" female being Beatrice and the most gullible being Ophelia. There are still 3 fairies open - Peaseblossom, Moth, and Cobweb. But let me know what YOU would prefer playing, and I'll give you a list of possibles to choose from.

Just a quick note to all (and all who may be considering joining): there is NO "right" or "wrong" way to play ANY of these characters. The emphasis is on having fun - and that might mean staying "true to form", such as a brooding Hamlet, or a fiery Katharina. But it also mean's giving the part your own unique "flair". I can give you a little background on a character you choose to play - what you choose to do with the character from that point is strictly up to the player.

A little mixup

I just posted on the thread, but it seems that I read there as unregistered, so I'd like to apologize for that mixup. I assure you it's these cursed computers, undermining us at every damn turn! I suppose it just took me a little bit too long to compose that little verse (or lack thereof I suppose).

On that note, my iambic pentameter could use a little checking. Really, it's not pentameter at all, but it's mostly iambic anyway...give or take a few syllables (hey, even Shakespeare wasn't perfect!). So if it looks bad, I was just trying to beat the clock before the server logged me out automatically.

1handed...just in case this thing pulls that trick twice.

Hey there! Fantastic idea, Sexy. I'd love to introduce the very evil Lady Macbeth to your party. She has always been one of my absolute favorites. The woman is pure predator and would be so much fun to play. Please!!!!

Honey B!! I'm so glad to see you! Why of course you can be Lady Macbeth - I was hoping some one would like to take on her character! And I think you could truly do her justice!

Just go ahead and jump right in.....and welcome back!

Would it be ok to join in as Mistress Quickly? Hostess in Henry IV parts i & ii. I guess, how I read her character is as much Madam Quickly as Mistress Quickly... older woman, and a hogirl at heart.

BadForm, it would be an honor to have you join us. I like your style and think you would be an asset to the thread.

Go ahead and jump on in!
