Format?

Well I can be of some help. I am sure they'll want a detail description of your character. Name, ranking, location, skills. Etc. And a brief idea how you would like to get your character into the story. They'll read it over and ok it or make suggestions. Basicly everything is discussed in here before it hits the thread. So just go with it

oh that's cool, but since i haven't finished reading, which I'll do tommorow cuz I've read too much today, in my opinion, I don't know how I'm going to meet people so I actually might have to bring in extra characters like NPC's so I'll do everything after I figure out how i'm going to "jump in" I guess.

Unless of course you choose to fill me in after what happens with Luke and Tynans bouting a few pages in.

Remember that it isn't RPG, but ORP. We're just telling a story. All we really need to know are things like what Orlanth asked, and a quick bio and background. And remember the ORP rules.
We tend to work together here, we run storylines across one another and bring things together as a group, making this more like a group writing project than an Rp really. Try to get well involved, and remember that the rest of us can be very helpful in getting your character involved. I still have some I need to bring in and more I need to work in, like Honisse Nurrel and Fusion Nova. Those characters will leave openings for others. If your character fits, he/she/it can be a part of all that.

When I said stats what I meant character stats with feats base attack/saves and other stuff.

Stats being: Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, Charisma

Feats are just like abitlities that you train like ambidexterity, proficiencies and some other amazing innate things.

Then skills and so on, yeah I'm a by the book RPG player I guess and so I still find it a little odd not needing any of that stuff on any of the games I've tried to get in on.

Not needed here. This is more about writing a shared story. You'll notice we do a lot of communicating with our storylines.

For example, I'm in the middle of something with Abraxis right now, but can't seem to catch him online to chat about where we're going (which reminds me, sorry Sweet P. I didn't think it would take this long to work out . . . but I know that Dev isn't needed to further the storyline, so you can have your character move forward with what we talked about, so you're not stranded).

Hopefully, it'll add a twist to the whole storyline, if we can figure out how to implement it, and add a new wrinkle for all the characters to deal with.

Just use your imagination, and play off the other character's actions, and you'll do well. Most of all, have fun.

Weapon(s): 2 short lightsabers (silver) about 1'3" and 2 bracers with foot long lightsaber-esque (green) blades and one lightstaff (purple)

Bio: Keiran followed his master to the outer rim to explore the unkwown regions. Only after a decade his master felt they had enough, they decided to head back. As a young child Keiran was very fond of building things, and maintaining a starship for self-sufficiency was as close to a dream he could get. He knew little of his parents other than that he was strong in the force and originally from Alderaan, but that didn't concern him. He spent most of his life on that ship making sure it could run and he loved tweaking with it to get just that much more out of it. He was trained to use a normal lightsaber, but as his training progressed in the outer rim, he and his master spent time in the many different cultures of the outer rim. He found an interesting culture which weilded thick blades that could be used to block as well as attack. He adopted their fighting style and built his first pair of lightsabers on their design. The first pair failed to work consequently as it was too ambitious an attempt. Months later with the ship in prime condition and stuck in hyperspace, he finally got it to work. His training progressed to a time where he felt his master slowly weakening in the force. At first he didn't understand until the day they were running through a jungle from the locals. He felt surges through the force and then the life of the forest and slow weakening of his master in the force. When he got in orbit with his master, he found his master dead. Driven with anger and grief he drove their ship down and killed the locals but after realizing what he did plotted a course for coruscant to find that it was filled with a new power. He's been drifting from planet to planet in search of what's left of the jedi order as the only home known to him is the ship which he alone occupies.

A few things:

Like they said, Alderaan is gone, as of Ep. IV. Silver lightsabers are cool, but I think we added a rule to keep things basic, meaning any new characters had to stick to certain basic colors of saber. blue, green, red, and purple? Maybe orange and yellow too.
Currently, the Jedi control Corruscant, unless Orlanth is leaving the planet. They recently defended from an Imperial attacker (General... Anderson?). I think he mostly represents the mass majority of the Imperial fleet at this point, though many small groups are spread across the Galaxy.

Zenoma Sekot? Isn't that a planet representing the... I can't remember the name right now, but I've read about them in the books. Remember that we aren't following the books at all, therefore, the (damnit! it's right on the edge of my brain) aren't in this at all, nor do they even exist. We have a few Sith, two notably powerful, plus Tholin Mod (Abraxas' odd sith... ) several small legions of Imperials leftovers, two separate but now reconciling Jedi Orders, one on Yavin and one of Corruscant, and one New Republic, led currently by Head of State Solo. The Jedi, mostly the young, less talented and experienced Jedi to be truthful, have been scattered for five years or so across the Galaxy, but their number have to be reasonable. The rest are involved in one order or the other.
And we'll need some sort of explnation of what happened to the Master...

Sorry to be picky, but, we have to all be on the same page.
