OOC: Street Fighter – Strung By Fate [PM if interested]

she was kind of small, that's why i was confused...the game calls King a girl, but i thought it was a typo until i saw a picture of her from one of the capcom vs snk games

your post, i think

Meh it was probably her obsession for Ryu. That's my damn spot! Grrr...*cough* Anyways lol Gotta admire Sakura’s spirit though lol R. Mika goes in the maybe pile. Her fondness of wrestling works for me. As I am a HUGE fan of it.
LOL, your spot? You should beat her up for it then! :p The lovely Sakura! :D

i kind of like King from Art of Fighting...it took me several weeks research before i found out King was a girl o_O
Yep King is good! And I saw almost immediately that she was a girl... If you beat her in the right way it would show her bra... :p Unless you thought she was a cross dresser ^^; Mai Shiranui and Blue Mary also rule (tho from Fatal Fury)! :p

ah...Masume, Li isn't her last name....Chun Li Xiang, in the original game...

they changed her last name for II V....not sure what they changed it to...her father simply goes by Dorai

whose line is it anyway?

Also, in Street Fighter II the movie. After her fight with Vega. She's called Miss Li. I know she doesn’t really have an official last name though.

Some called her Zang as last name... But in II Victory I think it was Xiang.

The Miss Li... could it be a not precise detail of the dub? Maybe they called her Li-San as a short for Chun Li-San... in the japanese version... But if that was the case it wouldn't necessarily mean that Li is her last name... It could be... but it's not sure... And then they translated it as Miss Li... making ppl believe Li was her last name... And it could be, but it could as well not be... :)

well, we know she's chinese....so either one works....too bad we don't know her father's last name <<

Li probably isn't her last name. But hey it works. In the long run it's not a big deal. Knowing her fathers last name would make things easier.

Well maybe it'd be more correct to leave Chun Li and nothing else... I'm not sure myself tho... After all the great Ryu doesn't have a last name either!

I agree as I mentioned in my previous post! :) It works... :)

actually, at some point he was given the last name Hoshi...the movie, i think....and he has a last name in Alpha...

I don't remember about him having a last name in Alpha... Yes they gave him Hoshi... but in the american stuff (like the Movie)...

How do you say "karate wunderkind" in Japanese? That'd be about right, wouldn't it?

Just 'cause I don't think "serious bad ass" would translate well.

She IS the Strongest Woman in the World, after all. :D

I'm lovin' it.

Sadly though, I need to go for now. I'll try to get on and post more later tonight.

LOL! Go Chun Li!!! :D Kick their asses! :D

Armphid: Mmm Wonderboy? I know How to say Wonder and Boy in a separate way... but I'm not sure they would work well together... Mmm... Sorry...

Oh now that I thought about it more carefully (and Yahoo stopped crashing every minute and I mean it! Razor can confirm! :p)... You could always use the Katakana (imported) version... "Karate No Wanda- Kiddo" That would be it. :)
