Another advantage my system has, is that anyone can learn about the opponent's fighting capabilities and use them in their posts.

I barely know anything about the attacks of most fighters. So by only writing a section of the fight focusing on my character, I am introducing my style for the other person to learn and react to. And viceversa.

Ask. I am willing to dig up and tell you Everything you want to know about the character. What moves. What they do. This by the way is why we asked for no customs. Because everyone has MASSIVELY DETAILED guides on the net on themselves to tell you what they do. How they do it. Most used things.

Really it's only you and Rai where I don't know what a person can do.

And I can write both sides fairly in your method. But if you don't I'm screwed. You break my arm and tap. I'm useless next fight. Even if I whup you that one.

Oh well. We'll make up our methods when we fight each other. Whoever is fighting whoever.

I'm personally Doing the Long Post Full battle way. I like it. It's fair to both people. And has no balance issues. Just Impartial Judging.

If someone talks to me and determines a time outcome and style I may do reactionary.

But that would involve someone getting in contact with me and not the other way around.

Either way can be one-sided, though, so it's ultimately up to individuals to be fair with other people and their characters. I do think the wrestling style fights allow for a little more eloquence, and they keep fights from being overly long and drawn out, though.

If you're both willing to play ball, you can make something really nice. FenixZero and I both worked on a single version of our fight, and I'm rather proud of it. We both got moments of glory, neither of us looks dumb or weak, and it was fun to get to dabble in other characters - I got a chance to try and get into Ryu's mindset, and he got to have some fun with a goofier dude (at least it looked like he had fun - I don't wanna put words in his mouth ^-^ ).

As usual, I'll follow suit with the crowd. At the risk of making things too complicated, could we make everyone happy and decide these things on a fight-by-fight basis, let the two involved figure out how they wanna do it?

I'm open to any system, really, it's just I think my system offers more in the way of variety and interaction, what with characters taunting each other, exchanging hits in a fluid battle, and with no special "superiority issues" arising (I AM BIG AND STRONG, ME BEAT POOR PITIFUL BRUCE LEE, DRAGON KICK OH SHI- ).


Of course, as long as my opponent and I agree clearly on a system, I'm go for anything.


Oh, another idea. How about merging my system with dice rolling? Divide the combat in four sets, and have Masume roll for each set. For example, 1 wins with a +4 (4 or more in a six-faces die), 2 wins on a -3 roll (3 or less in te same die). Then let the winner of each set write that set.

And then, have Masume roll a last set, the final one to prevent draws. If both opponents decide to have a draw, they can just tell her.

You had already been given the fight as a win if you don't remember. No voting Just pick a number and 5 was closer.

So you won. And since it was in Main thread that is what Balrog put down.

Though there I'm just guessing. But flithymind is a really good guy.

Actually letting everyone do what they like is likely easiest. And it makes everyone happy.

And to Kat. Yes. Page like 6 or so. Dice were suggested. And immediately scrapped as unessecary work and too much math. Again we are trying to avoid random here.
