OOC: Street Fighter – Strung By Fate [PM if interested]

My vote doesn’t count as this is about you guys not me. I personally would rather the E-Fed style, as the post by post can get confusing. As it was said earlier, it doesn’t need to be one long post. Because in reality these matches do not usually go on forever. Oh and sorry about no posts, I came home, hit my bed and didn't wake up until now...plus I played a little X-Men Legends II and I rented that Street Fighter Anniversary...So I got a bit behind lol

i wouldn't even know how to do method 2.....and that's ok, Masume...i slept for 8 hours and one of my other threads had a page more of posts when i woke up

also, i'm thinking of throwing in a plot twist <<

I think you may like method 2. It's the simplest. And lets you really open up.

Write how the fight goes. That's it. Just make up the Entire fight and what happens. At the end you win. PM it to the Judge or post it. Then it gets ticked and checked like an essay. And whoever has the better post wins. Not whoever pulls the most bullshit, Or whoever posts or says more, Or whoever screams "It missed" the most.

Whoever has the better story wins.

That's how it works.

It's great ain't it. Try Alex in third strike. And don't be afraid if the Computer opponent seems obscene at the beginning playing Streetfighter 2. It really is hard. But you warm up and get used to it. I beat it regularly now. But I got my assed whupped everytime when I first plugged in the disc.

Oh and Magneto/Juggernaut. Take you through the entire game on two moves if you have a friend.

Basically. It's like you are writing up a fight scene. There could be like a two - three paragraph limit. (6 - 7 sentences) Take say the fight scene with Chun Li vs. Vega from the movie. It's like describing that. So it's really the same as role-playing you are just describing the match. Maybe there is a way to make it easier. Maybe you can describe the final moments of the match?

i dunno, i'm not that good a writer

We can't help you then.

And Why would way one. Post by Post. Be any better. IF you can't write well (And dude I've read your posts and watched you post. You write fine.), Then reactionary on the clock writing would only make it harder for you. Why wouldn't you want the time to read over your stuff and get help from some friends. If I'm not sure about a submission piece I let someone else read it first.

Called proofreading.

o_O.....well, i'll try it if you say so, but i make no guarantees about my work

Why easier. And try a two paragraph minimum. I mean your opponent has to get some hits in too. I'm good but I don't expect any of these matches would ever be perfect wins.

Well Ryu vs Ken. That's gonna be one sided. Not perfect win. But one sided.

Oh and plot twists. Love 'em. Go ahead. As long as it isn't you're Gill/Bison. I'd have to hunt you down for that. Actually hell as long as you're not Gill.

Remembering that this is not my thread So ask Masume But you have my blessing.

I'm honestly just not excited about having to pick who wins. I think once a few are eliminated I would do that then. If you are seriously against it. Then how about everyone picks his or her own method. The two involved pick how they want to do their match.

I can around 6 or so this evening. I'm seriously headed for bed. I mean it now.

But I'll go first with someone, and do it however they like.

Uh are we doing a double elimination though. Like winner Bracket Loser Bracket thing. Sort of like two rounds?

Or is this You get beat you're out thing?

Simply losing and being eliminated might take some fun out. Figured it would be more of a bracket thing.

So since I can't see it. I'm wondering if she posted first match or some such. Sagat is more than willing to do that fight. So I'm wondering if anyone cares to talk to me first and plan some details. Or If I'm getting a bye to teh second round.

Cause I'm Sagat.

And noone seems to understand how the fights work.

I loaded up my original alpha 3 file for the PS1. Played for a while Did the collection. Love my world tour.

Don't have the right reflexes for Vega and Rolento (My two best chip characters.) And My Fei Long is rusty

But My Sagat and Ken are pure Domination. Can still do the entire GAME on hardest difficutly and only lose to Bison if I Screw up and let him hit me with the Super Pyscho Crusher. (Y'know the screen filling one that can't be avoided and does like 2/3 of a life bar if you get hit.)

Otherwise I own everyone.

But Grrr for stupid unbalancing supers and boss fights.
Yep, of course I know which one! :D
Mmm really interesting! :) Too bad we never played together! :)

Uh Ryu. All story between Ken and Ryu has Ryu Pwn him.

And as an intersting note Ken and Sagat have never met. Ever. Not in ring Not in anywhere. But Ken knows about him from Ryu, and Sagat studied him intently looking for a weakness in Ryu's style.

Odd ne. Course we're doing movie so they're equal and Ken saw Sagat in the carrier.

Yep, of course the story has always been one sided! And towards my favourite of the two, Ryu! :D But maybe you couldn't have agreed with it, it wouldn't be so strange! So I decided to ask! :)

Yeah! Odd! :)

in the anime << the first one....he did it to get Ryu's and Goken's chi back from the bastard

well game wise since they've switched I prefer Ken. He works better for me. I like the Shoryuken's better then the Hadouken supers.

But in Three Oh Ryu is the man. Still use Ken more, But there is nothing like Baiting your opponent into a High hit that you parry and Super flash Blue for the SHIN-Shoryuken.

It's like a slowmotion video horror movie played right before your eyes.
