Right now he isn't shiny. He is just a fox. I also endorse and support the attempt to kid...Dog?...Nap Kit, but only if he gets something out of it. Something that acts as an apology. Just don't have her taking poor Kit apart.

No idea. Whilst physical objects pass through, I suppose so would sound, heat, and many various wavelengths of energy.

So he might be able to pass through. Now what if you didn't want him to? could your character keep someone from entering her portal merely with her mind? Oh! And if Kit were to make a holographic doorway would it work for her in the same way, say, a window would?
