Okay! Character Concepts Unite!
MAIN CHARACTER ONE
Name: Yun Ceresen; "Yun of the Soft Step"
Species: Kitsune
Type: Raijin, Warrior-Monk
Age: 19
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 121 lbs
Description: Yun is an attractive brunette with a slim (though she secretly prefers "svelte") but muscled dancer's build, who currently lives in the midst of humans in the big city. She appears to be a Korean-American, but is pure-bred Kitsune. Soft-spoken, her mild manner holds a nearly Zen composure, but disguises a real passion for justice that burns inside her -- and also disguises the fact that, though she can seem demure, she's actually pretty friggin good at kicking butt. Almost famously so, especially because of her young age. Interesting quirk: Though she rarely shows off, she will fuss around for hours with elaborate hairstyles so as to disguise her fox-like ears.
Abilities: Most of her magic manifests in charged energy around her body, allowing her to leap far distances (even for kitsunes) and employ unarmed strikes with more force. Her specialty is reversing enemy attacks and throwing opponents, but her Leaf Dancing in the Wind Twisting Kick has been famous ever since she kicked a young kitsune man of her clan through a brick wall during a friendly duel -- thus her ironic title. But she's reserved. Really. Her more "vulgar" spells include a electro-magnetic shield charged with spiritual energy that deflects both magic and modern weapons and her Storm Magic. She has become quite skilled at the powerful Tetra Vortex spell, involving the four elements incorporated to the Air and attacking with all of them (Air as Wind, Fire as Lightning, Water as Rain, Earth as Ice, y'know!), but beyond those four types of spells and the Tetra Vortex, her actual spells are somewhat limited. She is a prodigy, but she still needs experience.

Type: Market Clerk; Magical
Age: 18
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 102 lbs
Description: A small young woman, Rinnie is unconventially beautiful -- she has a sort of Jewish beak nose, but her face is extremely cute, and that combined with her well-rounded figure, long dark ringlets of hair, and love of short skirts makes her very attractive indeed, though in a very different manner than Yun's classically beautiful features. No fighter at all, what muscle she has is soft, and she's not a combatant. But ever since Yun came, strange things have been happening around Little Miss Rinna...
Abilities: As of yet, only minor telepathy and telekinesis. These abilities will begin to develop as the story progresses.
SIDE CHARACTER
Name: Xavier Rinson; "Z"
Species: Human
Type: Samurai; Somewhat Magical
Age: 24
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 178 lbs
Description: A beautiful young man who tends to hide his face with a dark red shawl, he is an enigma to everyone but Rinna -- and even she doesn't get him most of the time. He tends to wear dark red clothes a la Dante from Devil May Cry, but covers them in a dark cloak until it's time to fight. Wields twin automatic pistols, a small crossbow, and a telescoping (it shrinks. you know, like those toy light sabers. and telescopes) metal spear.
Abilities: Well, he's not dead yet, so apparently he's tough. Can't use "vulgar" magic, however, but can enhance himself during battle.

DT, I think my post got a way for you to bring your characters in. If not at another dance, than maybe Rinna and Yun can find your guys while they're partying somewhere else. Maybe Lightning dragged Thunder off against his will.
You know, I think Yun and Thunder would hit it off real well.
Then again, opposites attract. That's why Yun and Rinna room together, after all. Their closeness is as yet unexplained!

It seems that all of the current main characters will be at the party. Thunder and Lightning throwring the party. Rinna out to party, and probaly attempt to get Yun laid. Kenji recover and somewhat hide, and Kenji, well Kenji is just making mindless schemes.
