Bio: Matsumoto learning from his father how to use a naginata trained as a warrior. Later however, he found that as powerful as the Naginata was it's too noticeable, he managed to find entrance into a group of ninjas and they trained him to hide and when he was ready gave him his own ninja-toh. (i'm not sure if the romajii is correct on that) Since then he's been on all kinds of missions gaining first hand experience the past couple years.

Weapon of Choice: Kenjiro speacializes in many different types of weaponary. But the weapons he uses the most is the Kusari-gama and a straight sword he named the dragon fly.
Style of Fighting: Turtle Dragon Style Ninjutsu. Phoenix Style Kung Fu.

Bio: Kenjiro (or Kenji for short) Is an enigma. He often keeps to himself during the day, yet he seems to be most cheerful when its dark, and away from big crowds. Many wonder about Kenji's past, but whatever it may be, Kenji refuses to shed any info on the subject.

Bio: Hiedeki is a Ronin (masterless samurai) his only alliegence is to his sword and daughter. He lives plainly in a quaint cottage in Hokiado. His days are spent perfecting his skill and carring for his five year old daughter. Her mother he passed on durring birth and afterwords he felt no reason to protect his Lord any longer. Sympathysing with his friend and protector his Lord released him of his service granting him the cottage and land in his little corner of the world. His skill is the best in the area and when he did serve his Lord he was the only one allowed by his side. He has now doned the uniform of one who only cares for his sword skill. The trials of men and lords do not concern him any longer. Only his daughter and his sword. His daughter has since began watching him and learning of his skill.

Bio: Akari is the daughter of a Gai-gin mother and japanese father. Her mother's red hair and blue eyes shine through in her and is easy to spot among true japanese. Because of this she will never be truly accepted in the culture. However she worries little of this, spending all her time with her father. She has begun watching his training and trying to mimic his moves using sticks she finds on the ground. Occasionally they travel together to a nearby village where she can play with other childern, most the kids don't care about her foreign looks but some do. It is at those times that the Sakai prowess and honor comes forward. She does not cry or run from their jibes, but stands her ground. She does not return the attack since it would be unnessacary and would only cause more trouble. She simply waits until they have tiered and then returnes to her father. Amasing potential lies in the child, it would be interesting to see her grow.

History: Called the Black Wind, Hinomori is a humorless ronin that has been stalking the country ever since he murdered his lord. He has lost all honor, and has quite a few bounties on his head. His nickname comes from the speed with which he kills. Rarely do encounters with him last a minute, and rarely does he come away with even a scratch. One of the largest dangers that hunters have encountered is his unpredictability and his view on Bushido. With no lord, he has abandoned the old system, and as such, isn't bound by rules on the battlefield. This makes him particularly dangerous.

Hy-kun, just a heads up cause I don't want you to think I'm blowing you off.

We sent out a huge deployment group here this weekend to Indonesia, cutting manning in many parts of the Hospital I work in, my unit especially. We're going from 2 techs/2-3 nurses/shift to 1 tech/1nurse per shift while keeping the same patient load.

How this applies here- I won't be posting in to start in this thread because I don't want to leave a new thread hanging for days at a time waiting for my posts. It wouldn't be fair to anyone else who posts more frequently and certainly not to you.

Well, first off, Kenshin wasn't a real character, well... At least 90% not. If I'm right he was based on another historic person who though supported the Tokugowa as Kenshin did. Refused to ever pick up a sword and fight.

I don't have much information on the Tokugowa though. Its one of those pieces of information that hard to find.

Its more like I'm a fan of the cilvil war and some of the key characters. True, Ruroni Kenshin did spark it. But I guess the Anime Peacemaker Kurugame was the one that truely made me interested.

Preferred Style: Tai Chi/Combination of other fighting styles. When required defaults to Butterfly Knives and when that doesn't work 3 secion staff, and ultimately last resort Guan Dao (Kan Tou)

Bio: Being a Daoist, he travelled with his father, who took him out to Japan, where they could learn of the culture, for the past several years he's been roaming with his father until about 5 years ago, they joined a dojo, and have stayed there since, his father teaching martial arts there and him, studying and teaching other students basics of unarmed combat. Taught Matsumoto Ichiken how to fight unarmed, and used to regularly train Kan Tou against Naginata. They became good friends, and have been on missions together for a while.
