Hiya DM.. Sophie hasnt been introduced yet.
Insert the evil factor into the story here
I will work up a brief background on her and post it here. I tried to find a bad guy to introduce and came up short on willing writers. So, i will be doin it too *sighs*

gist of it...
ok make this simple as possible.. Or try to
Ash's Father is Brian (ex captain of the Mystique) we know this much. His father (we haven't named him) was also captain of the Mystique.
Well we'll call him Jim. Grandpa Jim? lol
Jim had a relationship with a whore on pirate island, from that union he had a daughter. Sophie. He promised to wed this woman and make Sophie his heir, but while traveling around Jim met Brian's mother and married her. A proper lady. Brian came along and he became Jim's Heir.
Brian never knew nor did Jim's wife about the whore and his illegitament daughter.
Jim still visited the whore, assuring her all these typical bullshit stories to get in her pants. He would also tell his daughter of his ship and the things they would do and places they would see..
So when brian got the ship and she didn't, being labeled a whore and a bastard, plus the unfairness of it all.. Miss Sophie wanted revenge. her revenge would be in taking the ship which she feels was rightfully hers, not her Neices (ash)
ok now Vallen comes into the picture to aid Sophie in getting what she wants. Vallen wants the treasure and sophie wants the ship. Vallen was used to kill Brian and stop the second map from being given to him. Vallen and Sophie would have had the ship but Ashley returned and took command.
Sophie is heartless enough to kill all to get what she wants, even using vallen to gain it. Ashley doesnt know of this aunt, never has known they were related. Sophie is just a town whore everyone knows, no one sees more than that.
Now nothing stands between the ship and Sophie but Ashley. Vallen got the ship for her lover... now its on to treasure hunting.
This make sense? Any questions?

No worries, its just the bad element was needed in the story. If ash isnt the bad guy and thomas isnt the bad guy..... we need a bad guy dont we?

still think it would be best to use the british fleet as GM suggested.. I donno anymore.. Im playing it by ear as everyone else is

I can easily fix Kryss, just swim around a bit more putting remains and salvage stuffin a long boat and get lifted up.. Course thats my original aim. hehe..

the ship hasnt sailed off so I would assume its sitting against the island. One side in deep water, the other in shallow.
The only ones to go to shore was Mia, Daniel and Sally.. only because shore was closer than the Warhammer. Remember the Mystique was further out due to the coral reefs.
Anyway, everyone is on board in one way or another, since I dont know when pooh will decide he has to launch this ship, I put everyone on board in Mia's post that was with her. hope that is alright with Gm and Why?

last night why and i posted right on top of each other, and since we didn't read the other's posts, we couldn't respond, and it was fairly important at the time, still is, I think.
I wrote the Warhammer to be inside a cove actually, so the only shore around the ship is cliffs and hard rocks. I put the Warhammer inside a cove, so the water could be deep enough to put the ship right alongside the shoreline. If it were on the sand, it would ground out, and we'd have no ship whatsoever. It would be like a beached whale, nearly impossible to get out again.
You can go ashore if you want, just be warned, the Mystique already left for pirate island, and the Warhammer will embark fairly soon. (a few hours game time, a few days real time). If you want to get on, do so now. If you want to stay on the island, and make your own boat, and sail off into the sunset, that's your perogative too, the best of luck to you.
