Aidan

Walking back to the computer that i felt would be great for Anne to use at home i let go of her arm and asked her what she thought of it. She looked it over and i could see her mind working from what i had told her as my mind went back over the vision i had seen. What a time to get this i thought to myself, i had gone almost all morning and now it had to happen as i thought about her body.

Having taken her time i noticed the smile on Anne's face as i checked out a few tools that could come in handy for work. Paying for the purchases i carried the computer out to her car and put it in the boot. Looking at Anne and being so close to her i did feel pangs deep within but kept everything in check.

Stopping at my place on the way home from the shops i grabbed the battery and a fresh shirt and jeans along with my overalls. Talking a little on the way back to Anne's apartment i wondered how soon i should leave or should i stay for the weekend to make sure everything on the computer runs smoothly for her once it was set up and decided that was her choice to make.

Anne brought the car to a smooth halt near her apartment. She got out of the car and opened the boot, feeling a bit excited at finally having her own computer. She couldn't wait to have it up and running.
While Aidan began to gather the items up, Anne unlocked her front door and left it open for him. She hurriedly dropped her bag on the couch and looked at her desk, frowning. The pc she had borrowed would have to be dismantled before she could put the new one there.
Aidan came in with some of the new computer and put it near the couch before going back outside for more. Anne began to unplug the borrowed computer, disconnecting each unit.
Aidan remarked that he would put the borrowed one back in the van and Anne nodded as he kept walking in and out.
Finally the desk was cleared. Anne began to open the new boxes with rising excitement. Aidan began to lift the heavier items out and place them on the desk. Anne glanced through the instruction manuals, while Aidan began to connect everything together.
Holding one manual and reading it, Anne absently made coffee as he continued to work. It was only when she heard the first small beep that she looked up to see a blank screen and small green light. She smiled at Aidan, a completely open and pleased smile.
"Now we add the software,"Aidan said and Anne moved closer to watch. Disks went in and screens flashed and changed. Anne answered all the prompts and Aidan entered each one. Some he had to explain, some she even understood. He changed places with her and she sat at the desk as he leant over her shoulder, directing her, showing her new windows and applications.
Lunch was forgotten as Anne watched and learned, enthralled by the new world opening up before her. All the possibilities for work, the ease of being able to do so much at home to complement the stuff she did at the office. Anne was very pleased with the way things were turning out. Now, if she could just forget that brief image of him she had, things would be perfect.
It was midafternoon before a sudden gust of wind rattled the french windows and made Anne look out onto a darkening sky that threatened another storm. She couldn't believe how fast the time had gone.

Having spent most of the morning and afternoon helping Anne set up the new computer when i heard the sounds of the approaching storm for the second night in a row i sighed a little. With the mental image of having seen her that flashing through my mind occasionally i had been hoping to possibly see more of her attractive body.

Not having had much time to organise the battery change over with the darkened sky now i realised the moment had gone for me to do it. The time spent with Anne had been great and i didn't actually want it to end unless she did.

Having been standing behind Anne breathing in the sweetest of perfumes had made me a little woozy and combined with not having eaten i stepped back and sat on a chair. I let my eyes fall upon the window as it rattled and took a few deep breaths.

"Anne would you mind if i cooked dinner tonight and possibly stayed afterwards"

Anne turned her head around to look at Aidan, one eyebrow raised. She turned back as another gust of wind rattled the windows and a spatter of rain suddenly beaded outside.
"Ohh, Aidan, I'm sorry. I got so carried away with all this." Anne waved her hand at the flowing screen. She remembered that he hadn't had any time to fix the van and from the look of the weather outside, it didn't look very promising.
No wonder he was offering to cook a meal, Anne thought. He was probably feeling as guilty as she was for having totally forgotten about it. She shied away from considering how long he might have to stay afterwards, but she couldn't do anything about the weather. And it would be wrong of her to kick him out now, not after he had been so helpful and all, not to mention there was that little image of him she still had tucked away in her mind.
Anne's pause was brief before she said, "Sure, Aidan. Although you don't have to cook if you don't want to. I appreciate your offer."
Aidan waved away Anne's words and went straight to the kitchen. Anne watched, slightly bemused as he opened cupboards and the fridge, obviously very at home with the whole cooking thing. Which Anne had no problems with, she knew she wasn't the best chef in the world, or even close to anything that could be termed 'cuisine'.
Smiling, Anne looked back to the screen and kept on typing and testing with the applications. She could hear the muted sounds of Aidan in the kitchen and occasionally she would look across and have a doubled image of him. One of him cooking and the other of him in his boxers. It was rather disconcerting, especially when she caught of glimpse of his rear as he bent down to get something from a low cupboard.
Anne forced herself to look at the monitor, her face slightly flushed, hoping he would think her totally engrossed in the computer.

The kitchen was one part of the house that did feel like home to me as it was a great place to let every other inhibition go. Having only had a few dates with women, most of them being at restaurants i wondered if the mental image i had of Anne was really there or not. I had tried to block it out all day but was finding it hard to do and spending most of the day so close to her, breathing in her sweet perfume certainly hadn't helped.

Glancing across at Anne occasionally i noticed her eyes fixated on the screen and with the chicken stirfry cooking nicely i opened up several other cupboards looking for the finishing touches. Having seen a bottle of wine in the fridge i found some glasses and wondered what Anne would think if i used them.

Clearing the table off i laid out a tablecloth and lighting some candles placed the wine glasses and wine bucket on the table. Arranging the candles on the table i set out the plates and cutlery. My eyes met with Anne's as i took a few deep breaths.

"Anne i hope you don't mind me opening the wine to go with our meal, it will be ready in a few minutes."
