do you use a condom with oral sex? Every time? If you do, what kind do you use? How about the taste? Any suggestions.

I was wondering if girls are more likely to use a condom when sucking a guy or if guys are?

For the guys, do you usually suck a guys cock with or without a condom? How does it feel each way?

Never having tried it I was wondering about taste, feel, safety concerns.

I am sure lots of guys are wondering about this. Tell about your experiences.

For oral on men, use flavored condoms - they still taste a little like latex, but safety is the key. For oral on women, they have dental dams which is basically a square of flavored latex. Most people don't think that you need to use them for oral sex, but it is important to protect yourself. Among other things, you could get HPV - gential warts - transfered onto your tongue and throat if you don't use protection ... now, how do you explain warts on your tongue and throat to your friends/family? Safety first!

No, I don't use them, but I'm married and neither of us have any STDs. I have tasted a mint flavored condom, and I'd much prefer to have a regular condom and put something that tastes good on it like chocolate sauce than use a flavored condom. A fake flavor + latex= ICK!

I know contracting herpes from oral is common, but if no bodily fluids come in contact with your mucus membranes (e.g. they don't come in your mouth), what are the chances of getting other STDs? Just curious.

All I know is HPV - It is a virus that lives in the skin, thus you can get that from skin to skin contact. I also know that about 75% of America has it, but something like 40% of people don't know they have it. See, since it lives in the skin, the only way you'll know that you've got it is if the warts appear ... it won't show up in a blood test. And the warts are sometimes dormant ... especially for men - they rarely have visible warts. Or, a person could only have 1 or 2 warts and not notice, and some strands will eventually go away on their own ... anyway, unless people are in a situation like yours, where you know you're partner, I would recommend using contraceptives for oral as well ... it couldn't hurt!

Just a bit of clarification here angel if you don't mind...I myself was diagnoised with HPV this past spring. It was caught through my pap smear wich was repeated and then a biopsy of cervical tissue was done to confirm. I now have to get pap smears twice a year and biopsies every 3 years because HPV carriers have a higher occurance of cervical cancer. The doc told me that there are 70 some strains of HPV (this may be 170 but at the moment too lazy too check) but only 3 strains are wart related..my strain does not produce warts..its simply there...and had given me an increased risk of cancer. Though with the aggresive testing twice a year it should be caught if anything develops.

So for everyone out there..use a condom..be safe and enjoy..

Yup, shele, I got it too ... I broke out with warts a little over 2 years ago. It was an awful strain. I broke out in July and after treatments (yeah ... acid ... can we say ouch?!) it didn't go away until like October or Novemeber. It hasn't come back yet, but who knows? The worst part ... I was a virgin at the time. So, I'm living proof you don't have to have sex to catch an STD. Yeah, you're right on all the strains, but I think its 7 that cause the warts, but I'm also too lazy to check. You are 100% right though ... HPV is linked to cervical cancer. My sister also has HPV, and she has had to have a bunch of cancerous (sp?) cells and cysts removed. It's not worth it ... condoms are the way to go.
