Our Football

I watched these highlights. Top two going head to head. Barnes, Beardsley and co were simply irresistible. Best they’ve ever played.

When defenders were hard man, now they fall so easily
Vinny Jones 👊 He was the hardest so far on what i have seen in videos

He lived off his reputation after taking a squeeze of Gazza’s balls!

Terry Hurlock could actually play football as well as battering the opposition

None of them would last until half time in today’s game without a red card

Was looking for the John Barnes goal... this is about as good as the picture gets. Should be no 1 though and no. 5 doesn't belong here.
So where were you when we were banging these in? 🤨

What are some of people's favourite goals, not scored by their team?

Here's three that spring to mind for me, all sensational.

(I'm not Dutch)

The match i just stood there watching ex City striker Tommy Conway score for new club Middlesborough thinking "why are you celebrating with City fans, walk away!"

Only to have the salt rubbed in as West Ham loanee George Earthly score 2 late goals to give us victory at 2-1 !!

Was a good match in which we did not deserve to be beaten

Some plus moments were Noah Ellie making his debut after signing for around £ 5 million from New York Red Bulls
He looks a good player was impressed with him.

Up front bit hit n miss Siinclair Armstrong and Emil Riis had chances
But i feel the decision not to sign a prolific striker will haunt us until he is signed

The Robins had chances, but could not make them count.

The team selection could be the problem.

You need a striker who can score. You have support players but not a main man.
