Our poor Communities Are Eating Themselves

Starvation hasn't been a problem in the US for over 150 years but to hear some of these morons carry on you'd think we have victims of starvation dropping in the streets by the hundred's of thousands.

Most people I see in supermarket checkout lines using EBT cards are overweight with offsprings in tow who are also overweight.

Nobody is starving in the US, there are still plenty of cats and dogs left to eat. The Supreme Cult Leader said so.

There IS such thing as food insecurity.

Public demand. It ain't mysterious.
It was initially created to lend a hand up for citizens down on their luck. When a 400lb woman chatting on her $1200 cell phone towing a 200 lb child and carriages full of sweets and crap food, it irritates the hell out of me.

I was working in DC when all the lobbying started. The argument was those that lived in Appalachia were suffering from malnutrition and needed access to "nutritional food" and that the food stamps would give them access to said "good food." We now know the results of that well intentioned but fatally erroneous effort.
