Ouroboros

Xan hugged her close, "I imagine that it is alarming. I have had two thousand years more or less to adjust to it. By now it it is normal, I am sorry to say. "

He looked out the shattered wall and saw the first hints of dawn. "Today we should make it to another village. There I will try to get bicycles for us."

He cupped her heavy tit and drug his thumb across the nipple, watching it harden at his touch. "How is my pussy anyway?"

Simply being with Xan did a lot to make her feel better - it was hard to feel that fear of losing him when she was lying in his arms, his hands toying with her breasts. She kissed him warmly, and then listened to his plans. She would have been happy to spend the whole day in bed with him, though she knew it wasn't a good idea - they needed to get moving.

"How is my pussy anyway?"

Ana giggled at him, humming her pleasure as his thumb passed over her nipple. "Exhausted," she answered honestly. She felt over sensitive and a bit raw. It wasn't unpleasant, but she was certain she wouldn't be able to stand more sex - at least, not this morning. "Well fucked," she added, grinning. Some of her previous lives had cursed regularly, but Ana still felt a slight disconnect to many of them, so her ears turned red and she blushed at the sound of the word coming out of her own mouth.

Xan ran his hand down her flat stomach and cupped her womanhood and felt the heat therein. He pat it affectionately and said, "Get dressed, we need to go."

He rolled out of bed, his turgid member pointing out and up. As he dressed he watched Ana and smiled knowingly. Grabbing up the back pack he brought out a bite for each of them to eat. It wasn't much, but it would work for the minimal sustenance that would be required to keep them going.

As the day began they left the abandoned house and they headed south east again parallel to the road. They stopped a couple times as first a British, and then a French column of troops moved along the road.

As the sun set they arrived at the village. Luckily this village had an inn that was open and had a room they could get.

Ana was quiet for most of the day. She stayed close to Xan and was quite affectionate with him, but she was obviously distracted. Her mind felt like it was constantly on overdrive, trying to sort through all of the memories that had returned to her.

When they came into the town, she overheard a few whispered conversations among people on the street and came to be abrupt realization that she could speak German suddenly. They reached the Inn and Ana caught Xan's wrist, fear on her face. "There were German spies standing under an awning about a block back. They're looking for information on whoever assassinated the commander of a Panzer column," she told him in a tight, hushed whisper.

Xan nodded, "Yes, I know. I didn't hear anything that led me to believe that they knew who they are looking for. Did you?"

While accustomed to killing Xan did not particularly want to leave a trail of bodies behind him if he could help it. The more he killed the easier it would be for someone to track them down if they wanted, and Xan did not want to have to kill Ana's father if it could be avoided.

Ana shook her head. "We walked right past them, and they gave no sign that they recognized you. I don't think they followed us." She wrapped her arms around Xan's waist and hugged him tightly. "I just don't want to stay here any longer than we have to, not with them around. Though... do you think we should tell someone?" She looked up at him, then swept her gaze over the room. The inn's tavern was full of exhausted, beaten-down French men and women, sick of the occupation. "They might appreciate knowing they're here..."

Xan looked at the depressed and forlorn crowd then shook his head. "No. It is better to not draw attention to ourselves. If the Germans try anything tonight I will help but otherwise I am going to let it be."

They stepped further in and Xan procured a room for them for one night. Like Ana he had no intention of staying longer than was necessary.

They went to the second floor and looked at the space for a moment. "Go ahead and shower, I will go next."
