Tara grinned reaching up and wiping the sides of his mouth an intimate but innocent gesture. "Just a bit of crumb you got there" she said "Yeah its going to be a bit busy but it must be done. Kendal giggled and hid his face in Taras arm causing her to chuckle. " Hes being silly this morning thats all" she said " He was giggling at your crumbs my silly boy" she said tickling kendals sides causing him to wiggle.

she was shocked how Kendal behaved around Rick. He normally wouldnt interact with guys hat hanged around probably because they hadnt tried to do anything but get in her pants and if they coudnt accept him they couldnt accept her thats generally how things worked. rick hadnt seemed to mind kendal in the least bit.

She looked at her phone smirking at his comment of spending more time with her and hoping she wasnt tired after dinner. She laughed and said " Hmm he may or may not the little guy usually falls asleep after a good meal and bath maybe some cartoons but hell probably be curious and try staying up" she laughed " You can bring some wine and maybe some fruit snacks for Kendal if you want to get on his good side" she grinned jokingly "Preferably lifesaver gummies" she laughed " you can blame me for that one i let himn taste mine and hes been hooked ever since but i only give it to him once in a while" she looked at the time "Crap. wed better get going if you dont want to be late"

"I don't blame the little wiggle worm for laughing at me and thanks I probably look pretty funny with crumbs hanging on my lips. Thanks for cleaning me up Tara, looks like you have two guys to care of", he said speaking though a sheepish grin. While running his hand over his lips just to make sure a straggling crumb wasn't lurking in his mustache.

Looking down at at Kendal "Well young man are you going to try to stay up?", turning from Kendal to Tara, "Don't worry I know a lullabies, but I'm tellin'ya you'd be best off going to sleep you really really don't want to hear me sing..", putting his hands over his eyes and playing an impromptu game of peek-a-boo till Tara prompt him they better get rolling.

" Ok let's roll... And I won't forget lifesaver gummies and a bottle of wine", looking back at Tara, Kendal riding her hip like a pro..

When she caught up to him he attempted to open the door so she could could put Kendal in his carseat without any trouble.. As soon as he touched the doorhandle a robotic female voice announced, "Back away from the car or I will activate the alarm.. Back away from the car, this is your last warning..", he jumped back..

Even though he made his living repairing mouthy SUV's like the charcoal gray Nissan Pathfinder that just ordered him to back away he just wasn't used to talking cars and cellphones.. "I don't think your car likes me...", slowly looking back at Tara not wanting to risk any quick movement around the bitchy Nissan..

Tara laughed as her emergency car system set off. It set off a warning before alerting authority and ems. She had it installed immediately after her car was broken into. she quickly strapped Kendal in and turned off the alarm opening the front door for him.

"Sorry about that. Its bitchy but necessary especially when i worked nights." She rounded the car climbing into the passenger side and turned on the car tv for Kendal to keep him entertained."Mama bottle!" kendal said probably thirsty but she was pulling out.

She pointed to his bag and said "Rick do you mind please?" she said " Give him the apple juice for me" She said knowing once he had that hed be fine.

She smiled thinkinhg about his comment of taking care of two guys. Shed always wanted a family for her and kenda but she didnt want him becoming attached to a male figure and then theyd leave.

She began to talk with Rick getting to know him better.

Reaching over and grabbing the bag next to Kendal's car and Rick set it in his lap where he started digging through the bag and with little trouble found the juice and bottle and had it ready in no time.. Rick twisted and placed the bottle in Kendal's, "Here you go big boy"

Kendal had a firm grip on the bottle so Rick let it and it popped right into his mouth and Kendal's little cheeks started moving. "Boy that little guy has a grip", smiling at Tara who had her eyes firmly on the road.. "God I hate morning traffic and it'll only get worst when school starts up.. "

Watching to scenery pass by he lamented this had all been open country when he'd first come Rocky Creek some ten years ago.. "Man when did they start putting up that new Wal-Mart, every place you look there's another one. They pop up quicker than mushrooms after a rain. Pretty soon this place will be one big parking lot."

Tara grinned talking with him " Im kind of glad theyre building its convenient but your right e traffic is already crazy itll be worst with school starting and Walmart opening. " she giggled at his comment on Kendal " That good means im raisng a strong boy" she said " Im going to start him with playdates soon and maybe baby baseball I saw a sign for it in town when I drove through yesterday" she said smiling

She thanked him for handing Kendal the bottle and he satnin the back seat sipping down apple juice and kicking his feet happily.

"He's a strong little tike that's for sure", turning toward Kendal to check if he still had his bottle and how quickly he was sucking down his juice. Within the few minutes Tara had been talking Kendal had drained nearly half bottle.

"Do you know he's almost drained half bottle, I think you might have a future fratboy in the making"

Suddenly something Tara said made his head snap back. A look for surprised amusement mixed with an expression of complete befuddlement crossed his face.. He smiled at the images his mind has conjure up. But as funny as what she said sounded his curiosity got the better of him, he just had to know if she was pulling his leg.

"Baby baseball, what in God's green earth is that? When I was a kid I played T-ball, peewee, and little league, but never heard of baby baseball, you're not pulling my leg are you?"

Tara laughed and said " No im serious! It'll be so adorable! I can just imagine him in his baby uniform" she said smiling. She looked over at Rick and said " You thik its funny dont you? Ill check a class out of course before I enroll him but I think hell like it. Hes goicg to be three in a few months and I want him to make friends so I can throw a party for him" she said focusing back on the road.

“No, not at all... I think the baseball ting is cool but, I can't get the picture Kendal wearing a Yankees uniform and cap swinging his bottle at ping-pong balls out of my head...”, beating his tongue so hard he thought it might bleed...

“As for baby palates”, making a long sigh, “I have to plead the fifth...”, thankful his stop was just ahead.

“Right up at the light turn right and pull into the first service road, that's the old salt-mine..”, his hand already on the door handle in case he had to make a quick exit. “You are going to pick me up at five, Aren't you?”, as he finally realized he was at her mercy either that or walk...

“Do I get a kiss to seal the deal.. And I haven't forgotten gummys and a bottle of wine.”

Tara laughed she guessed the pilates was a bit overboard but shed put Kendal in the baseball if he didnt like it shed take him out. " I supposed pilates is a no go I couldn't picture him doing it hed probably throw a tantrum but baseball is in. Im looking for a mommy and me class for us maybe karate." She pulled in at his job as he asked if shed pick him up. She supposed she could Kendal enjoyed the ride and he didn't have any other transportation " Sure Rick thats not a problem" she said smiling and rolled her eyes leaning over and kissing him. " Have a good day at work " she said and told kendal " Say bye to Rick Kendal" Kendal waved his mouth leavig the bottle and said in a toddler voice " Bye bye ick" Tara giggled at that and said " Looks like im stopping for apple juice. Bye ick" she teased

“Karate's great I took Tae Kwon Do years ago, back when I was a teenager it'll get you in shape in no time. No, kiss did I forget my deodorant this morning stiffing his arm pits as he exited the car.”, while smiling at Tara's eye rolls. Smiling that is till their lips met a short little peck, interrupted when Tara broke away and wished his a good day at work.

Laughing at Kendal's goodbye, “Goodbye little guy, and you know when I was your age I called myself icky illams... Or say my mom told me. Well, hope you get all your chores done so we can relax and enjoy a good meal.. I know what I want to eat”, rolling his eye down her body...

“Williams get your ass in here, tell your wifie-poo goodbye and hit the time clock”, shouted a loud obnoxious voice from the shop door.

Waving goodbye as he ran to the bay-doors, turning once, “See you tonight don't forget me now.”, and he disappeared with a wave of his hand...

Tara laughed loudly pulling off and shook her head at Ricks randy behavior. She honked as she pulled off as someone called him inside. She made her ways to the stores picking out a green paint to go with the dinosaur wall border kendal had spotted in the lowes. She would do a jungle theme in his room and was sure hed love it.

She chose a cream color for the living room to cover those loud colors on the wall and champagne colored furniture for accent. She also bought a few table settings and art. After working things out with the interior designer and payint them he house was finished cleaned and decorated by 3 o'clock and mlst of their things were unpacked.

At 4 she finished cooking dinner and left her cupcakes to cool in the fridge while she drove to pick up Rick. She smiled honkkng as she arrived at his job at 5:15 because of traffic with Kendal wide away after his nap during renovations.

As Rick got in the car she smiled asking him about work.

Leaning against the back corner of the building he busied himself watching a mother bluejay and her chicks. Their little heading bobbing and squawking as the mother carefully portioned out their meal making sure each had an equal share. He was so focused on the birds he never hear Tara pull up. As she honked the horn his head snapped toward her direction.

He waved and started walking in her direction, it was only a few dozen steps before he reached the door handle and let himself in. He squirmed for just a moment until he found the perfect spot.

“I guess traffic was a little tight this afternoon and work well, it was work.. I'm just ready for a hot meal and a little relaxation.”, he smiled weak and warily... As he turned he could see Kendal kicking his feet, clapping his hands and having a merry old time. “Well, it seems Kendal is full of energy, ah to be young again...”, he sighed...

He also noticed no packages in the car. “Did you get everything you needed? After all you said this morning this car would be full of stuff..”

Tara grinned laughing " The blinds are in the trunk actually my interior decorator did everything but that sayin natural light was best but I need privacy so theyre going up. The horrible paint job is gone too I couldn't see myself with those colorsnin my house and Kendal is excited about his dinosaur room" she said happily.

She looked around starting the car and merged into traffic trying to get home in good time. Kendal babbled something in the back seat with am mama on the end and something about ick. Tara laughed " I believe hes sayin hello" she said happy Kendal was being friendly with Rick. Hed started running earlier in the hallway and she knew she'd have a bit of trouble with that .

“Hello Kendal”, he said in a singsong voice. It was nice to be off work and even nicer to be with Tara he thought to himself. “A dinosaur room I have to see that...”, wondering if it was done up with realistic dino's or purple Barney's or maybe she went old school with Dino from the Flintstones...

Suddenly a light went off in his head. “Could we stop at the package store right ahead I didn't get a chance to pick up any wine... It was super busy and we were a man down.”, sighing heavily laying his head back on the headrest. The day left him totally spent but, luckily it usually took only a quick cat nap to re-energize him.

“What do you like red or white? Do you have a favorite?”, he said pointing to the nondescript building to the left with a neon sign in bright purple displaying a wine bottle and goblet.. With the name Vino's Wine Cellar glowing bright red...

Tara smiled and said " ill take red wine Rick it'll go best with the meal." she knew he was tired because he looked like he was thank god she had stopped for gummies earlier and stashed the gummy lifesavers in her purse because if Kendal would've found the bag it'd be gone.

She waited patiently singing Kendal his favorite song because hed requested it. Kendal giggled trying to sing which made her grin and correct him politely. She looked out the window seeing Rick returning after a few minutes.

As he situated himself in the car he pulled a bottle of Coppola Merlot, "Have you ever tired it?", --turning the bottle toward Tara so she wouldn't have to take her eyes off the road, "I just discovered it, I know he made movies, the 'Godfather' is a classic but, up until a month ago I didn't he made wines.. The Merlot is smooth the Godfather would approve.."

Running his mouth he continued not letting Tara get a word in edgewise.. Sudden he slapped he forehead with the heel of his palm, "I forgot the G-U-M-M-I-E-S", spelling out what slipped his mind, hoping Kendal hadn't learned to spell already, "I just don't know why I'm so forgetful, I guess I have other things on my mind since I've met you..", he grined a smirky grin

Tara giggled and smiled "It sounds amazing ive never tried it before. Ive tried lambrusco it was pretty good but it was a long time ago." Rick seemed talkative tonight not that she didnt mind.

She chuckled as he mentioned the gummies " Dont worry about it Rick ive got that covered i know your tired after picking up the extra work today and i understand. " she smirked as he mentioned having his mind on something else " Is it now? I wonder exactly what that is hmm?" she said amusement in her voice

“You wonder hummm, you're so bad.”, as he turned to Kendal and said, “You'd like a little brother to play with wouldn't you Kendal...” biting his tongue so he won't laugh... Knowing full well Kendal probably didn't understand but, it was fun teasing Tara just the same.

Tara laughed loudly as he asked Kendal if he wanted a little brother to play with and he of course babbled playfully. " See even Kendal thinks thats funny Rick" she grinned " Trying to knock me up within our first week of meeting? Your definitely on the naughty list now" she said jokingly.

“I like being on your naught list”, sticking his tongue making sure Kendal didn't see him, no use teaching the little guy something he'd have to excuse to a stranger later down the road. “I'm glad Kendal likes my jokes.”

As he took off his ballcap and ran his fingers though his hair, “I guess I better be a good boy or you won't feed me... So what's for dinner you didn't say...”, as they approached her driveway... with the click click of a blinker barely audible over the crunch of gravel under the tires...

Tara chuckled at his antics shaking her head as she drove down their block and approached her house. She hoped Kendal hadn't caught that tongue thing because at his age he was a sponge absorbs everything around him and definitely mimicking.

" I cooked baked chicken with a portobella mushroom sauce, mashed potato and steamed asparagus and for dessert french vanilla cupcakes with buttercream icing." she said

“Oh my Oh my, sounds wonderful”, licking his lips as he spoke. His whole demeanor changed the thought of a good meal with a pretty woman renewed his energy levels and brightened his disposition.. “How in the world do you get everything done? I mean all the shopping, dealing with decorators, taking care of Kendal, are you super woman in disguise?, gazing at her in admiration. His face lighting up like a moonbeam as their eyes met... How could he be so lucky he wondered.

“Well, you know after a meal like that I'm going to be completely useless, so is there anything I can help you with now?”, reaching down and patting his belly before swinging the car door open, while twisting right and resting his feet on the driveway and using his hand to up push himself upright. Giving a long upright stretch his fingers reaching for the sky.

As his hands relaxed to his sides he tilt his head peering in the backseat, “Did you help your Mommy do all that today Kendal?”, giving Kendal and crown like smile hoping he wasn't Coulrophobic...

Tara smiled climbing out off the car and rounding it to get Kendal as he spoke to her " Lots of patience and determination" she laughed" And the cooking is no problem I like it. Im sure after a meal like mine youll be very energized Rick" she winked

Rick asked Kendal if he helped in which he laughed shaking his head back and forth making Tara laugh. "Just like a man to leave a woman with house duties huh Kendal?" she said grinning and leaning down kissing him.

“After a meal like yours you're sure I'll be energized or are you hoping I'll be energized, oh never mind all that, you know the sight of you is all I need to get energized..”, he said with a mischievous grin. Hoping her little wink meant more then just a little playful flirt.

He had a warm fizzy feeling as he watched the way she grinned and kissed Kendal. Ah a mother's love he thought to himself for a moment till he noticed how the seat of her jeans stretched across her shapely ass. Then his thoughts went from the wonder of motherhood to making babies. His tongue running along the inside of his lips as if licking her sweet tender pussy lips.

“Now now enough with the duties talk you know I'd do anything and I mean anything to make you happy.”, he teased. As he was about to step toward the house with the bottle of wine under his arm, he turn toward Tara, “Anything I can carry in? Or anything I can help you with?”

Tara smiled picking up Kendal in her arms and looked at Rick grinning hearing the comment but chose to laugh it off for now with Kendal in her arms" Well just see later wont we Rick?" she smirked " Theres a lot of things you can help me with rick but for now...I just need you to get Kendals baby bag and that grocery bag in the front."
