Outlawed (Closed)

He watched the blush creep up her face as she stammered a reply before turning to the stream to drink, and perhaps more importantly, hide her embarrassment.

Campo shrugged to himself as he innocently asked, "Did you want a closer look?"

Erin gasped and stood up in a rush ... so fast that she nearly tripped over her own feet."I- NO!" she exclaimed."That would be... indecent. I couldn't ever do something like that unless it with a husband!"

Her face was redder than ever as Erin back up a step, a little farther from Campo. She had hears of men who forces themselves upon women. Would he do such a thing? Her fright was reflected in her bright green eyes as she gazed at him.

Campo shrugged then said, "Well close your eyes, I have to clean this Comanche markings off me."

Not bothering to check if she obeyed or not, Campo stripped and left his belongings on the bank of the creek. Stepping into the middle of the stream he began to bath himself, scrubbing the Comanche disguise from him.

Finishing he walked back to the shore. "Are you sure you don't want to bath?"

Erin's eyes widened as he mentioned washing off the comanche disguise."You- you mean you aren't Comanche?" she asked. she shook her head no when he asked if she would like to bathe. no way would she strip naked in front of a man she had just met and who had kidnapped her.

But he had not harmed her yet. in fact he had been rather pleasant. Erin felt herself drawn to him for reasons she didn't want to comprehend.

Campo laughed, asking, just how many green eyed Comanche have you met?"

Campo gathered his clothes and began washing them. As he finished he laid them out on a rock to dry in the sun.

Campo leaned against a tree, closing his eyes listening to the world around him, alert for riders or anyone coming.

Or leaving.

Erin searched his face then and noticed the green eyes."It's been dark out, I couldn't see the color of your eyes" she said in self defense."So if they are green does that mean you are only... half Indian?"

Her mind wandered to what her father said about what he called half-breeds. He said they were vicious, blood thirsty men. But Campo had yet to truly hurt her. Did that mean her father was wrong? Her eyes conveyed her confusion as she watched Campo relaxing.

He nodded without opening his eyes, "Yes. My father raped my mother when they raided The People of the Wolf. I was the 'treasure' of that raid."

He looked at her, seeing the sunlight glint off the emerald dress that was nearly the same color as her eyes. For a moment he thought she was as pretty a woman as he had ever seen.

"Freedom," Campo said. "If you don't return home, go elsewhere, you can lead a life free of the choices your father makes for you."

He opened his eyes and regarded her, "Who knows, maybe you would enjoying living verses being caged up."

Erin regarded Campo with surprise. How did he know what she hated about living at home? He was very good at reading her and it unnerved her a bit.

"I... Well, no matter where I am, men always seem to think they can make decisions for women, so I don't see how it would change things" she finally said softly. Erin sank to the ground and sat with her knees pulled to her chest, regarding his naked form still.

"So... your father was a... a white man? Do you hate white people because of what he did to your mother?" The question might reveal why Campo had felt the need to raid their party that night.

Campo smiled and laughed easily. "A woman should be submissive to her man, even your Bible states as much. But a man should take the time to learn his woman's needs, her desires, and address them for her."

He looked at her sitting across from him, her knees drawn up to her chest. He regarded the shape of her thighs, the swell of her hips, and found them very attractive. "Once he does that, then her obedience and submission will be acts of love and pleasure. Not duty."

Erin thought carefully about what Campo had said. It was true enough she supposed. If she were to love a man enough she would have no problems with doing as he wished."Do you have a woman enjoy loves you, Campo?" she finally asked. Surely a man that wise would have a lady waiting for him somewhere.

He didn't mean for the snort to sound as derisive as it did, "No," he said. "White women see the skin of a red man, women of the People see the eyes of a white man."

He realized the tone was harsh, bitter. Shaking his head, "Mother died years ago lonely. Even she only saw a rapists son at her final hour."

Campo blinked once or twice and then asked, "Rumor has it you were going to choose a husband to be last night. Which one was the lead stud?"

Erin found herself drawn to Campo in an instinctive way. Then he asked about the men at the party the night before. It was Erin's turn to snort."None of them. I've never been attracted to any of the men that Mama and Daddy picked out for me". She found it ironic as she said that, that it was the truth and yet here she sat thinking to herself how attracted she was to the man who had KIDNAPPED her just hours ago. She shook her head slowly ay the irony.

Standing up and brushing the dirt from her dress she gazed at the man before her."So... uh... what now?" she asked.

Campo watched as she stood and ran her hands over her plush derrière. "Next? Nothing until my clothes dry and I decide whether I am keeping you, sending you home, or letting you go your own way."

He was truly undecided on what to do with her and shrugged. "If I were to listen to your request of me, what would you want? Go home, free, or stay?"

What DID she want? Erin asked herself. The indecision was reflected in her eyes."I-I don't know, she admitted."You are right when you say I wasn't happy at home... I wasn't. But what's to say I would be happy somewhere else?" Campo could sense her confusion. She shrugged.."You wouldn't listen probably anyway" she said softly.

He looked at her, his expression and tone even as he stated, "You can't possibly know what I will do if I don't know yet."

He stood and walked to her, placing his hands on her shoulders gently. Her head was cast down a little and he cupped her chin raising it until she looked him in the eyes. "Give it a whirl, I would not ask if I didn't want to know."

Erin inhaled deeply as he walked up to her and touched her gently. Her pulse kicked up immediately."What would my life be like if I... if you were to keep me around?" she finally asked. The question gave enormous insight into what Erins's mind was thinking.

Campo's shock was reflected on his face as for one of the few times he stood slack jawed. After a moment he said, "Hard. There are no walls around you, no roof. The meals don't always come on a regular basis, but you will eat every day."

He stood another moment then asked, "Why would you want to come with me?"

Why DID she want to go with Campo? She wasn't sure to be honest."I don't know why or if I would want to... I mean... you kidnapped me. I should hate you but for some odd reason I don't". She was surprised to hear herself admit that to him."All I know is that you have had plenty of opportunies to hurt me but you haven't yet. That's gotta mean something, right?" She asked. Campo could see the confusion in her eyes.

Campo's heart was suddenly pounding and he wasn't sure why. His cock twitched in reflection of his pounding heart.

Using the fingertips of his right hand, Campo lifted Erin's face so they could look at each other. The doubt he felt was echoed in the statement, "You'll be the death of me."

Erin's mouth opened, and Campo placed one finger over it, shushing her before she could say anything. "You can stay if you want. Give it a week, then decide."

Erins eyes widened as Campo's finger was placed over her lips. Had he just told her she could stay? Was she actually excited about it? Her mind was going wild with thoughts and questions.

What would he expect of her? Erin gazed up at him, nearly mesmorized by his green eyes. They were nearly the same color as her own. She studied these angles of his face. He was beautiful in a masculine way. She felt her face blush red at the direction of her thoughts and looked away abruptly, his fingers falling from her chin.

"Where do we go from here?" she asked.

Their eyes locked for a moment then Erin's face turned red as she turned away from the hand that was holding her, but not moving away from him. He wondered briefly if the flush was due to a physical attraction?

It didn't matter, either she was or wasn't then she asked about what was next.

His cock reacted visibly. It was not hard, but certainly no longer flaccid either. "First," he said, "We get you out of that ridiculous dress you are wearing, and into something more comfortable."

He turned and went back to the tree he had been leaning against and resumed his spot. "Then we go back to m- our camp and live."

Erin heard him shutter over the words my and our and it have her a lot of pleasure. The fact that Campo was stick naked had not slipped her mind. Her eyes drifted down to his half erect cock. She jerked them back up to his face but not before he saw her looking. She blushed furiously again.

"I uh... if u stay with you... will I be like a wife? Do your people have wives?" She didn't want to sound rude but she knew next to nothing about indians and what she had thought she knew had been proven to be false so far.

"Yes," he said with more than a little mirth in his voice, "We have wives. Generally we mate for life."

He allowed his eyes to travel along her body, thinking of his response. Then, "I will teach you my expectations of a wife. How to act, what to do. But I won't expect you to give yourself to me until we decide after a week what the future will be."

His eyes finally made it to hers as he asked, "Why haven't you married already? Aren't you old to be single still?"

Erin felt herself blush even brighter red. "I'm sorry. I'm being rude. I just... I don't know anything about your lifestyle I'm afraid. Everything I have ever heard had been from my father and he... well lets just say that he is not fond of indians..." she said as she cast her eyes downward.

Then she forced her gaze back up to his. "But I can see now that a lot of what he believes is wrong. I .... well I havent married because I have put it off. I didn't like the men my parents chose for me. I wanted someone who would love me for me. Not my father's money".

Campo nodded, his eyes still on her, trying to gauge her honesty, her motivations. "What makes you think I am not after the same thing?"
