Hey Starry
Doing ok here trying to patiently wait until the end of June when I will be retired
Have a lot of plans for after that.
Going to Hawaii with the Mrs. and another couple in October.
Lots of home improvement projects.
Lots of fishing.
Mrs. and I are traveling across the country next year making a big loop down to the Grand Canyon. Over to Florida. North to Maine then back home. We plan to hit about 26 states and figure to take between 7 to 10 weeks.

Just found out they are going to open the lower Columbia to sturgeon retention next month so heading down there for a week of fishing while the Mrs. is on her cruise with a friend through the Panama Canal on the inaugural cruise of NCL Bliss.

Afternoon all,
Well the seasons are on the turn here in Melbourne town. I've recovered after my rather painful week of finishing off the last of the painting tasks for this part of year. We get Summer again at the end the year, yep twice in the year. Have put away all the fans and other Summer stuff. Even changed to the warmer bed sheets today.

Hi Y'all - Rooster/56/married. I like looking at all of the "join dates" on the postings. I found lit years ago - like 20 years ago. Not sure when I registered and it doesn't matter now does it? Looks like a bunch of us have been hanging out for a while. When I found lit, I let my subscription to Penthouse Letters expire - figured out they were giving it away on the internet....LOL.

I haven't gone to work for nearly 4 yrs now and don't miss it one bit. Didn't know there was this whole world outside of the daily work day which surprised me and still does.

same here. Today is an acupuncture day so that will help. It's been a hard week. How are things going??? You still have my cell number to call me if you need to talk???
PT bumped me to Friday this week before Flag Wave. Saturday will be along hot day. Have a training event with several CERT teams and Fire departments who are showing civic leaders what it's like to be in the smoke room & other situations they face. We just have to set up the rehab services with ice water, wet towels, etc to help anyone who needs it.

Well the weather here in Aussie land is the opposite of what most posting here are experiencing at the moment. Wintery blast coming from the southern ocean so typical Winter stuff even though not officially that season yet. Lots of rain in the south and flash flooding in our most southern state, i.e. Tasmania which is not connected to the mainland.
Had the gas heater going again. Also that time of the year for hearty meals. Personal fav is a curry which I make myself. Making chicken curry tonight, and a glass or two of red wine couldn't hurt either
Hopefully the rain will go away for Mother's Day as I'm doing a bit of driving on that day.

Summer has arrived in England. I think. Should definitely get here by June 21st. 
It’s a long time since I was 50. It’s a few years since I left work behind. It’s a bugger when the body is getting older but the mind is still 17. If only I had the knowledge of today with the body of yesteryear.
But as long as I get up every morning, have an enjoyable day, and get into a comfortable bed at night what more is there? Lots more people in the world who don’t have it as good as me.
