Yesterday - plus 27 C
Tomorrow - snow is forecast
Who says there no such thing as global warming?

Hope you Floridians can hunker down and are all OK

Afternoon all,

Nice and sunny here in Melbourne town in Aussie land, but the north and west of the country is dealing with storms and at least one tornado which is unusual. Hail the size of golf balls. One report of a brave mum sheltering her child and grandma in the car whilst the windows were blown out by the hail stones. Lots of damage in the surrounding area. Seems bad weather is happening in both the northern and southern hemispheres at the same time.

As for global warming well our current govt doesn't think it's an issue, which is one of many reasons they are on track to lose the next election in the new year.

If anyone in the northern hemisphere wants to visit The Great Barrier Reef here in Aussie land well now is the time to do it, cause the way things are going it won't be around in another 20 yrs.

A real shame the way we let all of the political yahoos and corporate fatties wreck our environment.

Talk about living and partying for now and ignoring the mess we'll be leaving our children to deal with soon after..

I'm in the middle so this hurricane (Michael) passed us by with just a little rain & wind. We've sent up tons of our Search & Rescue teams, the Duke electric teams and are gathering more supplies to sendup. We just got our teams back from the Carolinas a couple of weeks ago.

The sad part is if Michael had hit here it would have only been a cat 1 which would have speared huge amounts of people.
