Hello all... I've had a very strange day so thought I’d tell you all about it... I know it's long and not very interesting but stick with it...

My day started out very normally, woke up at 7, snoozed till about 10 past, got up brushed teeth hair etc... Went down stairs and made my lunch (how well prepared am I?!) then left the house at 8...
By the time I got to work at 8.30 I was feeling quite rough. I've had a bit of a cough for a while now and it got worse when I arrived at the office. It was going to be a slow day so I took the 1st house (I’m kind of an estate agent) and decided I’d go home and see the DR after that, mostly to have a nice day off and perve over Lit... I've also been getting strange cramps in my leg so I thought I'd ask about that while I was there... When I called the surgery there was a message saying that they were closed all day due to a funeral! How inconsiderate! So my collogues said I should go to a walk in clinic in the town I’m working in... So I did... Got there at about 10, waited for an hour to be seen by a nurse who looked at my leg and got straight on the phone to my local Dr's surgery and told them I had to have an appt ASAP... strange. I drove all the way back home to go to my Dr who poked my leg about, took some measurements, looked in books and called the local Hospital! He was worried it may have been DVT so he made an appt for me to go and see the specialist and sent me off to the hospital...it was about 1pm by now.
My appt was at 2.30 so I sat around for a while in a bit of a daze wondering how I’d managed to end up in hospital! When the Dr came to see me she poked my leg a few times and asked me some questions. She thought it was unlikely I would have DVT due to my age and the fact I don’t smoke but she wanted to do some tests to make sure.
She tried to take a few blood samples. I have very deep veins and after poking about in my arms for a good 20 mins she took the blood from the back of my hand! OUCH!! I look like a junkie!
The blood test results took an hour to come back so I waited some more. When they came back she sent me off to X-Ray to have a scan of my leg… I was seen straight away there and the Dr said he needed see my leg so I rolled up my trousers, thinking that as the pain is in my calf that would be where he did the scan, but no, I had to take off my trousers (horrible! Good thing I was wearing pants today) He covered me up with some blue paper towel and squirted this strange cold wet sticky stuff all over the top half of my leg then pushed the scanner all over. Now I have a big problem… It affects me quite seriously and at the worst possible moments… Exams, Weddings, Funerals and now medical exams, and it is this… I laugh! And once I start I can not stop! So all the while this cute young Dr is touching and pushing my leg I’m giggling like a strange little child! It was actually quite painful but I couldn’t help laughing. Especially while he was touching the top of my leg, right near the pelvic bone…
Anyway, when he was done I put my trousers back on and he said he couldn’t find anything so I apologized and left fairly quickly.
I had been told to go back to the specialist so I went back and she said it was probably just cramp, nothing to worry about, that I just need to drink more and sleep with my leg up!

So that was my day, Random as ever.
My great plan of bunking off work foiled and I still didn’t get any help with my cough!

Aww, I'm sorry to hear about how hectic and stressful your day has been WFY. I hope the pain in your leg goes away and you can lose the cough sooner than later. If I was able to I'd come over to your place and take care of you, let you lie in bed while I wait on you hand and foot, cook for you and do your cleaning then tuck you in and give you a lil kiss and say goodnight.

Having a stupid day...

Hey all. Just thought i'd put you all off talking to me by letting you know how stupid I am!

I went in to oxford today with a friend to buy a new camera... I'm hoping to do a photography course in sept and needed a 35mil to do the course. I only have a digital. I got a really good deal on a 2nd hand Canon EOS 500...(what ever that means...) The guy in the shop showed me how it workes and said it was ready to go! Great!

So I went with this friend to a really old overgrown Cematary in the center of town and took loads of photos. The light was great and there was a little cat running around.

I just got home and realised there was no film in the camera Oops...
