Pending story changed?

I posted a new story yesterday, on this morning I looked what is it status and it was "Pending. 17 hours ago..."
But when I looked it just, it was "Pending. 38 minutes ago..."
What happened, has someone altered my story without my knowledge?

It just happens. *shrug* Some people are probably going to tell you it's the death knell of long-pending due to content/AI review, but I've had mine change the time a couple of times, and they went through in 2-3 days without a hitch.

It's just a quirk of the backend, and nothing to be concerned about.

Yes, seems that nothing is really changed, but line breaks are added like I have noticed done when my stories have been published.

Yeah, if it's still pending, no status change, who knows? It's possible there was some formatting adjustments, it wouldn't surprise me if Laurel fixes things to be consistent, and that could possibly read from the backend as a change and potentially reset that time, I have no idea if that's true, total guess on my part. I'd actually take that as a good sign, I don't think she'd bother to fix it if it was going to be sent back. Could be wrong though. I wouldn't worry about it.

There are several components of the back end that update at different times. I suspect your story was approved, but only part of the system knows it. If you check in a few hours or a day, it will be published.
