Oh yes, the Penthouse letters. Wish there was an online archive because many had to be real. I was a teen experimenting with my crossdressing and working in a place that sold this and other magazines of the day. The old editions would come off the shelf as the new ones appeared. Employees would take the old ones and I found myself drawn to this publication because the spectrum of letters often included a couple crossdressing related letters. One in particular was a very well written description of a crossdresser who rented a hotel room, did all the prep expected and was dressed to the nines when her arranged suitor appeared. It then detailed all the things they did. All the things I never even thought of until then but obsessed about after and maybe even tried whenever the opportunity presented itself. That letter led to me dressing exactly as the writer described on several occassions, right down to the earrings. It let to venturing into an ABS to nervously buy my first small dildo and eventually a few more life like ones. That publication was amazing back in the day.

I actually had a small library of the paperback collections of letters that were published for a while.
