People In Counties That Backed Trump Were Twice As Likely To Die From COVID

Herman Cain had wealth and access to the best medical care and advice, but he still went maskless among large gatherings, caught Covid19 and died.

You are a fucking idiot.
He was elderly and had ongoing health problems.

Usually, at this point, I would point out that hate&politics makes people stupid,
but, hell man, at this point, we realize that you were born that way...

A new study published this week by the National Bureau of Economic Research found the gap between Democrats and Republicans dying from Covid-19 increased significantly after the vaccines became widely available. The study was conducted by three Yale University researchers, Jacob Wallace, Paul Goldsmith-Pinkham, and Jason L. Schwartz, and looked at “excess deaths” in Florida and Ohio broken down by partisan affiliation.

“In 2018 and the early parts of 2020, excess death rates for Republicans and Democrats are similar, and centered around zero,” the researchers explained.

“Both groups experienced a similar large spike in excess deaths in the winter of 2020-2021. However, in the summer of 2021 — after vaccines were widely available — the Republican excess death rate rose to nearly double that of Democrats, and this gap widened further in the winter of 2021,” they concluded.

“Overall, the excess death rate for Republicans was 5.4 percentage points (pp), or 76%, higher than the excess death rate for Democrats,” notes the study’s summary, which adds:

Post-vaccines, the excess death rate gap between Republicans and Democrats widened from 1.6 pp (22% of the Democrat excess death rate) to 10.4 pp (153% of the Democrat excess death rate). The gap in excess death rates between Republicans and Democrats is concentrated in counties with low vaccination rates and only materializes after vaccines became widely available.

Darwinism in action.
Quoted for truth. It is why I stopped trying to educate them. Only good Republican is a dead Republican and we don't have to do anything. They do it to themselves.

I don't believe that the "Only Good Republican is a Dead Republican."

Statements like this are not constructive, and only add to the hate, division and rancor.

HOWEVER: What passes for "Republican" in many circles today, would have been dismissed as fringe-extremist and totalitarian at best (and sociopathic at worst) back in the 1980s and 1990s- back when I myself identified as a Republican. I have no use for sociopathic and totalitarian views, especially in a free and civilized society. The trolling garbage that Busybody, and the various barrage of Rightguide user names posts here- that isn't "Republican" nor is it "Conservative" despite what they claim. It is misanthropic, sociopathic extremism that is in utter defiance of what a free, prosperous, and civil society should be.

On topic, refusing to get vaccinated is a personal choice.
HOWEVER: Spreading blatant unscientific and debunked lies about the safety of the vaccines, for the sheer purpose of prolonging the pandemic and allowing more people to die of a preventable illness that might otherwise spare them (why else would they do it??) is disgusting and sick. Intentially going into a crowd while you are sick with a potentially deadly virus, and deliberately spreading it is not only irresponsible (at best!) but it can even be construed as attempted manslaughter.

When will the Democrat Death Squads be stopped?

I see them for what they are. You see them for what they were. Sorry...facts are facts. It is us vs them. Doesn't have to be. But I will not pretend things are different than they are.
