Pepsi or Coke?

Coke for drinking and Pepsi for cleaning the rust off tools.

You know, Coke is more acidic than Pepsi. I remember one time, a few years back, I was at McDonalds between classes... Anyway, my car wouldn't start and I had no change on me. So, I went back inside and asked an employee if I could use their phone to call for a ride. So, the clerk asked if my car wouldn't start, and I said yeah. He filled a cup full of Coke and went outside with me, told me to pop the hood. He poured the Coke on the battery and it ATE the corrosion away! And, my car started after that. Something to think about next time you reach for your Coca-Cola!

By comparison to the acid in your stomach, the acid in Coca Cola is very mild indeed. But it does a nice job or removing corrosion from battery terminals. Just be careful not to spill it on the car's finish!

By order of preference: Coca Cola, Royal Crown Cola, Pepsi Cola and price carries the final weighting factor in the choice.

Actually, both have about the same acidity. It's the difference in type of acid that makes a difference to me.

Coca Cola contains "Phosphoric Acid" near the end of the ingrediants list on the bottle. Pespsi Cola contains "Citric Acid" about midway down the list.

By Volume, Coke contains less acid than Pepsi, but the difference in type makes the acidity about equal.

I'm a Coca Cola drinker. Citric acid and Sucrose, whether in Pepsi, Mountain Dew, or any other soft drink, gives me heartburn. Shasta Cola also contains Citric Acid, but is sweetened with Frustose, so that's my second choice for a cola.

so basically.....you could vomit on the car battery and get the same effect? And if thats true.........what would happen if you drank coke THEN vomited?

I'm not cleaning that up! And I don't recommend you try that method unless your aim and control are VERY good!

COKE---THE REAL THING

COKE adds life to everybody who wants to live a life.
COKE adds life to everybody who wants to live a life.
COKE adds life to everything that you do.
COKE adds life to everyone that you knew.
COKE adds life to everybody who wants to live a life.

I'd like to teach the word to sing
in perfect harmony....

But I'd rather drink a Pepsi one.

I was from the Pepsi Generation 'til I got sick and had to switch to diet drinks. :(

Now it HAS to be Diet Coke or Diet Cherry Coke! :)

I used to prefer Pepsi, then it seemed like it got more sugary every time i drank it. Then, it was Coke, but now i get a wierd taste in my mouth if i drink it out of anything but glass bottles. Dr Pepper has always been great!! Also, Mountain Dew and Sunkist are great if you need a jolt.:)

I live in Atlanta so I must support coke, although I do like Pepsi. But my favorite soda in the world is cream soda.

Coke!

Absopositively. I find that the Pepsi varients and Diet Coke all taste the same, too sweet. But coke is sweet with a bite.

Jaded your comment was very nearly a self fulfilling prophesy - thanks ;)

I'll go with Coke as well. You can't very well mix drinks with Pepsi. It just isn't the same. :)

Dr. Pepper for me. Unless I can get my hands on German Coke. Yumm!

Neither...

Dandelion and Burdock for me and if it has a little vodka in it then all the better.

Pepsi I guess for me, although I don't drink much of either. Is there any real difference between them? I much prefer Doctor Pepper myself.

Pepsi and Diet Dr Pepper............Coke if it is on sale though.......
