I was kinda thinking along those lines, but didn't want to hijack the plot

So I was thinking instead of outright causing the outbreak, he at least took the snipers out before they could really help.

Also, small bean spillage because I feel like it will be useful later (and you may have already suspected since he got a hold of Tommy on the radio), he is a part of the army. Maybe not the conspiracy part, but he definitely commands some peeps and has some lackeys. It's going to play into how he kept Cora quiet for so many years.

Yea,it would also be really out of character for Vin to just randomly ask without some reason for it. Maybe if Damien was having a nightmare or something, and said the name in his sleep he might, but other than that-has to be a good reason for it.
