Nothing's stopping him from telling Cora

I kind of want Vin to be in the dark, or perhaps if it does come out somehow, he doesn't quite understand just *who* this guy is. Like maybe he knows someone is after them and he thinks it's related to the military conspiracy, but I would like to just keep him in the dark mostly. Which I don't think will be too hard unless the three of them start sharing glances/weird statements in front of him.

HOWEVER, I was thinking, on the flip side, Cora could come clean about her suspicions and they could all start basically arming themselves to take the threat on when/or if it happens.

Either of these paths are good to me, but either path they go down, the general is going to be a sneaky fucker and get her in a trap and steal her away from them at some point.

Will he take Tommy and Jesse with him and his group when they move out to fuck with Cora?

Interesting. I thought you were going to take Jesse and Tommy with them when they move out to isolate them and make it easier to take Jesse out on the most appropriate and respectful of dates, Generally speaking.

Tommy's still probably going to be sneaking dates in whenever he can between all this, but Cora won't be stole for a moment at least. Mr.General man likes to taunt his little prey for a while before he pounces

I meant General man taking Jesse on a nice date, though if he gives up on her and turns his attention to Cora instead, that would be fine. She'll be Tommy's protector whatever the circumstance.

Tommy's gonna see something he wasn't supposed to see, play it off as if nothing is wrong but the general will have his suspicions, and then Tommy's going to try and do some investigative work. I was thinking while he's doing that, he'll probably confide in Jess with some of the more mild details, like not being able to trust the army, and possibly even try to get her to leave for her own safety.

Haha, oh Tommy. She definitely won't leave. In fact, maybe she'll try to poke around a bit herself. Perhaps at some point she'll cause a distraction and then try to sneak into his office. Or maybe she might try sneaking in at night through a window and rifle through his desk.

Hmm... I'll have to think about it. I have to admit I find the idea of it exciting, but story wise, I'm not sure.

Alternative reality thread?

I've actually been playing around with that idea for a while and I was about to ask you pretty soon what you thought about it. I was thinking like two nights ago, "what would have happened if the apocalypse didn't happen after Cora left, and Damien just showed up at her apartment?"

Like, I really thought it might be interesting to explore that. She would probably feel a lot more conflicted, and maybe even a little more scared that he couldn't leave her alone.

I was also thinking about keeping the scenes/overall plots kind of shorter and use it as a way to just explore alternative choices/paths/endings. Like, not make the posts themselves shorter, but kind of cut off the over all arching stories and then start on a new one, like exploring Jesse getting captured by the general could be a separate scene, but in the same thread.

Interesting, I kind of see what you mean. Like a "what if" thread where we mostly do interesting scenes with alternate details.

Would that get confusing between the two threads? I feel like I might get so caught up in it that it would become its own legit story thread. I'm also concerned about making some of the stuff in this story less impactful. Like I love the fact that I have to wait for Sabastian and Vin to get together. Having that in an alternate reality thread might cheapen it, maybe. I don't know. Lemme think about it.

I'm conflicted because I really like it, but I'm worried about the two threads at the same time.

Not getting attached to an alternate story line might be a struggle though >_>

It's going to be weird for Sabastian to be in the same complex as another half-zombie. The telepathy thing I'm thinking isn't something they really know how to control yet, so it would just be like sending images sometimes. Like Sabastian would have nightmares about Vin being shocked and being in a cage.
