Pink Orchid 2026: Story Event for Women-Centric Erotica - Official Support Thread

Nearly 24 hours left. Plenty of time...

Much of my life atm is spent trying to instil organisational skills into my teenagers. Tomorrow, I'm having a day off and doing some writing. I wonder where they get their attitude to deadlines from...

"Love Song of the Northwest". It was rejected here, so I posted it to that other site.
I can understand the reason for the rejection, but I did enjoy your story. The MFC getting nude at the beginning hooked me and the idyllic setting made a nice contrast to later events. Presenting a video to an audience was a clever way to present the past events but allow the MFC to add first person thoughts of the events. That kept the ‘what will happen next’ danger very much alive. I had no problem with the science or Bigfoot descriptions.

The ending was left open. I don’t see the MFC repeating her experiments. But the little sister may come into play.

I am sure there is a relative size difference between the MFC and a Bigfoot, and I thought of times seeing small pixie-like women with larger and taller partners. It made me wonder about different lesbian sexual positions that might be possible. Perhaps another story idea (and I do like fairies - the magical ones!)

Also getting close to last day of posting! I hope everyone that’s still working on one will have an amazing boost of productivity and get there in time! I’ll send some energy drinks to your muses.

Submitted "Her Portrait of Desire" last night. It's already approved to go live in the wee hours of tomorrow (yay, Laurel! And of course, Yay Omenainen for creating and shepherding this event)

Same here.

It's pretty sad though, that I wasn't ready to submit until the last day, considering that all I had to do was finish up the story that missed last year's dead line.

So happy to hear that! I'm so glad you guys made it. It means a lot to me.

Sometimes, life be like that. But better late than never.

Thank you again. Because I write primarily May/December romances I tend to have tall(ish) men with petite women. But I also prefer not to describe main characters in more than broad strokes, so the reader can better imagine the scene to his/her liking. Janey and her sister may be tall Nordic types if that suits the reader. But, yes, the Bigfoots are bigger.

Submitted "The Rise and Fall of Cunt Rock." It's been a while since I submitted a story. It's showing as draft instead of pending. Is that correct?

Until it's approved or sent back, yes. Wait, is it in Drafts or Pending?

I keep 4 sets up in Dafts, everything ready, but just a blank RTF file in place. All have to do is attach the correct file, change the title and catchline, and then submit it. If it's in Drafts, you haven't submitted it. But if it's in Pending and says pending, it's on its way for review.

I found it. Stopped one step short. It's pending now.
