Thanks Dave, this old body has been thru a lot..`born with bad GI..when falling 26 feet .. did it no good. Now after 15yrs and more surgeries to fix thing... the first yr after fall I had 9 surgeries. And now in the last yr I have had 5 ..with 6 on the 21. and the way things are going I could have more before yr is up. Each time I go in it could be the last time. I am a major risk for infection. Hell just to have teeth clean I have to take meds for a week before and 10 days after.

Icy1 thank you for caring. So I know now I have three ladies that care and leave me Smiles.

I will post here when I get back to the nursing home. Not sure when I will be able to work on indexes. Yes I have a condo but nurses and docs will be around a lot after surgery. I know I will have two drain tubes in for a week or 2. If I don't get infection. Right not its a guess of 60/40 that I do. The healing from the surgery cut they think it could be from 4 to 7 weeks.

I got this e-mail from his nurse.

Fred is doing well. Was in surgery for 2 hours and 10 minutes. Plan for him to be transported back to nursing home on Friday.
