Have you ever been involved with a Player?

I consider a Player as someone who is in it for the short haul. Hands on you, but eyes on the next one in line. Never serious.

Think I maybe in said relationship on net currently and I don't
much care for it.

Any other definitions?
They are in it for the "game" to take what they can and don't
give much of anything back.
It can be either online or real life.
True
What were the signs that you were being played?
expediant information, told what ever they thought you
wanted to hear at any given time...of course this leads
to inconsistacies quickly.
Did you dump him/her after you found out?
not yet.
How about getting involved knowingly with a Player and just enjoying the time while it lasts...
That makes you a player too and .............
Let me know,
Cassidy

Don't let her turn you bitter, Mac.

One player in the mix shouldn't keep you from finding someone else:)

All men are players when try to fascinate a woman!!!

The Carpe Diem is a life philosophy, coming from our ancestors, the Romans!

Of course the life is a nig play or game, and we all are actors in this play!

I am sorry if I do not agree with your comments!

Well sorry Ventoso I don't agree, not all men are players but some are, and yes some women are! I don't believe in taking advantage of a situation just because it suits your needs, but if an opportunity arises you should take it and go with it providing someone is not getting hurt in the process. Sorry on your next point, life is not a big play. But about this forum?? I hope we are all playing ;)

I've gone out with a player. I couldn't tell till about six months into the relationship. Too much pot those days I think...
I think you can tell when they don't have as much time to spend with you and they make all sort of excuses up.

I've also played with a couple players (knowingly) and enjoyed the xp while it lasted!

I'd much rather know the situation. I hate when guys think they have to lie to get in your pants.

What game are you guys playing again??
-Can we play Twister next??:D

Time is the big tell tale sign, I believe. Unbelievable excuses are probably a close second.

I agree, knowing the situation puts you into some kind of control. When you are the playee (?) you are so fucking clueless. Makes you feel like an idiot.

TWISTER?? Count me in !!! Love that game:D

Hey Cassidy, how about someone who uses you to make their spouse/lover jealous. You know the routine, they tell you their relationship is on the rocks and they are just looking for someone to help them get over the pain of breaking up. Then they make sure their spouse/lover is aware of you. Yes, happened to me some time ago. Yes, I dumped her when I found out...not really sure if dumped is the right word but we ended the little game real quick.

Players should stay with other players...that way no one gets hurt. Just don't pretend to be looking for something serious or long term when you really want to make your ex jealous.

Sorry to hear that. Glad you realized it sooner rather than later. Hope your heart wasn't too involved yet.:)

In a perfect world players would get with other players, but don't think that happens very often. Even in that situation someone would probably still get hurt.

Thanks Cassidy for caring. No, my heart wasn't too involved yet. In retrospect, ending the relationship was the best thing that ever happened to me. I met my current the next night and we've been together 30 years.

To play is absolutely another matter than to lie. In my idea, a player is not a liar, there is a big difference!

When you play, you follow the rules of a certain game; when you lie, you brake all the rules!
