Ah. Well, I didn't really grow up around here. Virginia boy originally. But I know my way down to Smithsburg off of this mountain.

Smithsburg Pike, that's 64 if I'm not mistaken. Been a while since I was down that way really. And that was just to get some liquor.

Yeah. Near 77. I'm living in what used to be my grandparents house/farm. Very nice here.

you are in one of the best areas I've ever lived in, four seasons and on the wrong side of south mountain so the winter isn't so bad.......One of the things I always dreamed of, a mountain 'stead far enough away, but close enough if you wanted to........

Well, I don't know if the winter's are good so to speak, and last Spring we had some flooding. Only bad thing is when it snows, they don't get around to plowing here till last.

from what I remember some great hiking around there......I lived right on rte 40 outside Hagerstown......always seemed that the snow was moderate.......

Well, I remember coming up here as a kid with my cousins and brother, and we'd go exploring in the forest here on the family's land.

I know of Rte 40. I think that that is one of the highways I'd take to get into Hagerstown. As for the snow, well, I'm sure it's moderate compared to some areas, and heavy compared to others.
