I've had a great morning today myself, went and had a haircut, then bought two pairs of sandals, then took my daughter shopping for a swimsuit and got her a bikini that will make her dad hit the roof when he sees her wearing it

Well its hard for daddy''s to accept their little girls are growing up.....he'll get over it....as for the rest sounds like you had fun....my favorite thing to do...well almost...buy shoes.....I love trying on different types of shoes and yes I have bought them and only wore them once....I'm so bad about it.....

Ohh, I keep buying footwear, mostly boots in the winter, any kind in the summer... I wear them all a lot and I take very good care of them. You might catch me in rags but I'll always be well shod

I know what you mean Cats. My little one is not so little any more, she is taller than her mum and the top of her head is now past my shoulders. Before I know, she'll be bringing her 1st boyfriend home soon, and she is only 14

I Like huggy people....just not always sure how to react around them....unless I know them of course....

i have the same problem-my brothers a hugger and i know him pretty well but am still uncomfortable with hugs from him. never felt comfortable hugging males, no matter how close. but you i know, and you're definately not male -so heres a *hug*, a and a grope of your left tit-just to be sure!

I know what you mean Cats. My little one is not so little any more, she is taller than her mum and the top of her head is now past my shoulders. Before I know, she'll be bringing her 1st boyfriend home soon, and she is only 14

this is a damn difficult time-my daughter was 14 when she lost her virginity. I didn't react very well-made all sorts of threats about dragging them off to the police and having them charged ( which i didn't because when i looked into it i found that in this state the legal age is 10 as long as they are within 2 years age of each other-how ridiculous is that?) belting him, and lots of crap i dont remember now. I was the nastiest person i could be for about a year to him. This was a mistake-it upset both daughter and me and damaged our relationship. and to their credit they are still together 3 years later. i still think they went to early, but there's nothing that can be done about it-all you can do is hope you bought them up right and that they'll know when the time is right. It's hard being the father of a teenage girl-and i'm father of 3 of them!

Yikes! I was 17 when my folks found out and the going was along the lines of *how could you do this to us?* I still don't get that logic...and when I found out my son had lost his I just figuired I was lucky he hadn't lost it before he was 19.....
