Pleasure Kingdoms: A Fantasy Adventure

Zarl, of the Macrai-Itoche

Zarl stopped, feeling the glaive pressing against his cheek. His eyes moved up, looking at the girl. His eyes roamed across her body, and he licked his lips. Then, something caught his eyes. He looked beyond her, to the last of the goblins, who seemed to have decided to take the girl.

He could let the goblin get away with a surprise attack on the young girl, and go about his business, of likely throw away any chances of getting laid in the next week in order to help her.

"Yeah, you Macite scum! Get off of me, so I can kill you!" Zarl looked down at her, at the sight of her heaving bosom, and her angry face, barely able to keep her wrestled to the ground, he looked up at the girl threatening him.

"This isn't your business. Besides, didn't you just hear her? She'll kill me! I mean, how do you expect me to react if either way means death. Oh, and there's a goblins behind you," He said truthfully, motioning behind her with his head.

- Hotaru turned quickly, slashing her glaive through the last of the goblins.. its guts flew everywhere and splattered against her porcelion face. She wiped it away and turned back to the man ontop of the woman-

"Do you think pinning her down is going to help you? Obviously there has to be a reason why the woman wants to kill you"

- Hotaru took a deep breath, she wasn't use to standing up to anyone, but at that point something was just coming over her. She knew it wasn't her business, but what kind of person would she be if she just walked away?-

Zarl, of the Macrai-Itoche

He sighed. It was obviously one of those women who were innocent, and didn't know the ways of the world. He looked up at her, and sighed again. "Holding her down will help. Because it will help me get what I want without her fighting back to hard. And as for why she wants to kill me, I'm a male monster, she's an attractive female. If you need more explanation, you really shouldn't be this far from your parents."

He looked her over, licking his lips. "Of course, if you're willing to take her place, I might accept that. She is a tough one, after all. And you're not so bad looking, yourself. Or you could continue to threaten me, in which case I'll have to do something about you. It might just be best if you went home."

- Hotaru's eyes softened, if she walked away now she would never forgive herself. But if she didn't, she would risk losing her virginity to this.. monster.. that she didn't even know.

What was more important? Her virginity, or this woman? This woman wasn't helpless, she could kick him off of her.. couldn't she?

And her father... what would her father think.. he was right, she was in way over her head.

"Of course, if you're willing to take her place, I might accept that. She is a tough one, after all. And you're not so bad looking, yourself. Or you could continue to threaten me, in which case I'll have to do something about you. It might just be best if you went home." -

"I.... "

- Her eyes lowered and she turned her back to him, her heart catching in her throat -

"... i'll go.... "

- Hotaru looked at the woman for a moment -

"Arigatou.. for helping... me... I just can't stay I..."

- Hotaru walked away a few steps...

And set her glaive down.

Without warning she ran as fast as her feet could carry her and she threw her whole body into Zarl, sending him and herself rolling away from the woman -

Shizura gawked up at the trees, then rubbed her eyes and sighed. A cautious villager approached her and peered at her, looking her up and down before smiling weakly.

"Uh, thank you, miss," he said, rather nervously. "What brings a magician to our small town? Did you hear about the troll?"

Shizura blinked and turned around. "What? T-Troll?"

He nodded. "There's a troll here. We're offering a reward for the party that slays it, as well as honors from our town. Not including what you can get for the blood and decaying corpse, of course. Troll crystals don't come cheap."

Shizura's eyes widened. I have to help them! I can't be sidetracked... but I need money for research time and classes. And "honors"? She smiled widely. "What do you mean by honors?"

He paused, then shrugged lamely. "I dunno. I guess our village chief writes it on your resume."

Shizura was extatic. "Really?! With that kind of distinction, I'll surely be let into the wizard's college! I can see it now!" Currently unaware that the poor villager was listening to her self-narration, she stared dreamily off into the distance. "Heroine of Town, um, whatever the name of this town is." She turned back to the villager. "What IS the name of this town, anyway?"

"Neisburg," he said weakly.

"What does that mean?"

"Nothing. I think maybe the chief sneezed when he made it up."

Nodding sagely, the cute magician smiled thoughtfully, and then turned back to the villager, unleashing the full force of her innocent smile on him and causing him to blush profusely. "Thank you, sir!" she cried, and she skipped toward the inn cheerfully. Finally, I have a plan! Only... I doubt I'll be able to beat a TROLL by myself...

Then she heard shouting from the inn.

"Eep!" she cried. "Shizura to the rescue!" And she rushed in the door, preparing to fight anyone and everyone.

Instead, she just saw that Kevin had poured a bucket of water on a pretty redhead.

Shizura blinked.

"...wha?"

She scratched her head.

"Uhh..."

Things just get stranger and stranger... maybe I should go for a walk. After I get these two to make up from... WHATEVER happened.

There was a disturbance in the woods today. Raen had sensed it. It awoke him from the deep meditation he had been keeping up, nestled, in perfect security, in the great thornwood tree at the heart of the forest. And that angered Raen, who didn't get to sleep very often.

Goblins again, and their squalling victims, ruining the clarity of the Green with their crimson emotions. Raen supposed he'd have to intervene. He drew up his unstrung bow, and ran a hand across the wood. The innate life in the wood, responding to the touch of his fingers (ever so slightly tinged with green) bent readily, and Raen slipped a string over it.

He melted out of the undergrowth a few moments later, his bow trained on whatever was making the disturbance. Three figures were struggling on the forest floor. Raen drew back his bow, and felt the green magic flow through him, flow to the end of the arrow where a single emerald spark flickered on the head.

'What's going on?'

He had to concede it wasn't the most original of opening lines

The innkeeper jumped back as he saw the young man come rushing in with the picther of hot water. Eeve didn't notice what happened till she felt the hot water poured over her. Then she screamed.

"EEEEK! It's HOT!"

She whimpered as she jumped back and then tripped over a chair that had been left out. She land in a heap, the hot water only embarressing her more as it caused her nice black dress to stick to her like a second skin.

"What was that for?"

She pouted as she looked at the young man. Then she looked down and eeped as she tried to hide her tail quickly.

Kevin Wild

Kevin beamed as the monster shrieked and collapsed. Gee, monster hunting wasn't so hard after all. Then he blushed and gaped when he saw that the "monster was cute red-haired girl. He gaped again when he saw Shizura in the doorway, and then looked back at the girl on the floor. Her black dress clung to her, and the way she had fallen left in ridding up almost to her waist. Kevin's eyes traced her long, slender legs to the base of her tail. He looked down at the front of his pants.

"Oh, no." Kevin shuddered and jerked, then he grew suddenly to three times his size, bursting his new clothes as he transformed into a slavering, hairy beast-man. The monster stared at the redhead with bulging yellow eyes, and gave her a toothy, dripping grin. "BWAH HA HA HA! PRIITY GORL!"

The monster lunged ather.

After causing a little mass confusion in the town, and growing tired of being chased around, he heads back to hang out close to the Inn. Well I guess staying close is good, so I'll know when they decide to leave.

Looking around he manages to find a spot to one side of the inn where there is a window that is only partially blocked by overgrowth and peers in, just intime to see the man from earlier pour a pitcher of water over the pretty red haired girl. That's not how you get a girl man.. Then he watched as Kevin stepped back and....and changed. Whoa... Wait Shizura could be in trouble along with the other girl. Unable to fight the urge to rescue pretty maidens, he backs away from the window... then charges forward leaping horn first through the window, barely fitting through. As he lands tables and people scatter at the sight of the unicorn in their midst.

He rushes forward, into Kevin and knocks him back away. Spinning he turns to face the wolflike creature. "Leave her be."

* Just a note that was directed at Kevin and was heard in his head*

Stunned, the monster rose shakily to his hairy feet. His yellow eyes spinning, he looked back and forth from Shizura to the redhead with the tail. "PURR-IIITTY A GORRRLZ!" He rumbled.

"K-Kevin!?"

Shizura could only stare, wide-eyed.

"W... wh... wha..."

Then Logan jumped through the window.

And Shizura hit the floor, having fainted.

"PURR-IIITTY A GORRRLZ!" came the growl from the thing that Kevin turned into.. Lowering his horn he tries to keep between the beast and the gilrs..Swishing his tail and stepping back a step as it got off the floor. Oh great now what do I do? He glanced back momentarily to Shizura then back to the beast..

The dark unicorn standing between the monster and his two lovely objects of desire, the beast had no outlet for his lust. "Puh - Priitty Gorlz?" it muttered, slowly deflating. Soon Kevin was standing once again before the crowd in the inn.

"Yikes!" Kevein yelped, covering his naked body with a tablecloth. "I did it again, didn't I? I'm really sorry. It doesn't happen very often, I promise. Is everyone okay?"

Eeve's eyes widen very much as she saw the huge beast leap for her. She screamed and rolled away, crawling under the nearest table.

"Not good, not good.."

Shizura opened her eyes. She was staring at the ceiling.

"Okay," she said, loud enough for everyone to hear her.

"First I meet a guy who seems nice enough. Then I get ambushed by goblins. Then I get saved by a telepathic unicorn who turns out not to be a unicorn at all. Then I get attacked by a half-squirrel creature. Then I find out that the guy who I thought was just a simple farm boy turns out to be a werewolf who likes throwing water at pretty girls!"

Slowly and methodically, she stood up. She wasn't aware that everyone had been listening to her monologue. She turned to look at the girl who had dove under the table, and noticed a bit of golden tail sticking out from underneath her damp, black dress. Shizura stared for a few moments, then sighed and turned away. She turned back to the innkeeper, who was gibbering at his window, the shutters having been knocked off their hinges.

Shizura slapped her forehead, sighed, and tromped over to the center of the room. For some reason, even the toughest farmer in the room was wary of this young girl who had before seemed nothing but a pretty maiden.

"Logan!" she cried, staring upwards. "Go back to the stables. I'll come in and brush you or something later, okay?"

"Kevin!" she said, turning to him. "You buy this girl dinner in recompense for pouring water on her, and then help to fix the hinges on the shutters! You probably know how to do that sort of thing better than anyone else." Walking forward, she handed Kevin a silver moon coin. "That should cover it."

She spun to the girl. "And... uh..." She sighed, walked over, and helped the girl up. "Look, I'm sorry about this... what's your name?"

Hearing Shizura call his name, he looks her way.. Then hearing her send him back out to the stable, he lowers his head, and looks as if he's pouting...then hesitates looking to her again. Wait..she said she'd come out...well maybe I should go it is abit crowded in here anyway.

He turns to head out of the Inn, but looks to Shizura as he turns.. "Sorry about helping make this mess." He heads back out to the stables.

- Hotaru looked up as a voice cut through her thoughts. Her purple eyes wided as she jumped away from Zarl, she didn't want to get pinned with an arrow -

"I was attacked by goblins and these warriors saved me, but than this male was going to take advantage of the woman, and I was only trying to stop him"

- She stood in silence, her glaive was too far for her to get to it in time.. should this guy attack -

Flustered, Kevin ties the tablecloth around his waist and tries to assist Shizura in helping the redead to her feet.

"Look I'm really, really sorry about the monster. And about the water. I just saw thhe tail and I thought . . . you know." He looked down sheepishly. "I guess you must get that a lot. Having a curse is a real drag. Especially one that makes people forget to treat you like a person."

He holds out his hand "I totally owe you dinner. And I hope we can still be friends."

Raen kept the point of the bow wavering between the girl and the two warriors. He eyed her with cautious hostility.

'Do you ever wonder if a tree that falls in the forest when there's no-one there to hear it makes a noise? Well, it does. It echoes through the Green for days, and makes my head ring like a bell'

He walked forward slowly, his feet making no noise on the fallen leaves of the forest.

'And when a bunch of fools who have no business here walk in and start fighting and enacting their sordid little rapes... it gets much, much worse. Understand?'

Eeve blinked for a moment and smiled and she let the girl and the now non monster boy help her up. She sighed softly for a moment as she looked down at her soaked dressed. She blushed again when she looked back up.

"I'm Eeve. And actually this is my second day out among people...umm..You wouldn't happen to have a spare dress I could borrow and some place to get dry?"

She looked hopeful at Shizura. She bent over and picked up her staff to retrieve, giving both of them a clear view down between her pale white breasts.

"Ah, I'll be over here fixing the window!" Kevin said, quickly averting his gaze from Eeve's pale breasts.

Heading back into the stable, he looks up as the stable hand steps from his office. Man this is worse than being sent to my room.. and I'm not even at home anymore. He lets the stable
hand open the stall door and he steps in and settles down and wonders how horses can stand this life... I'm bored, man this is the pits, especially when I could be inside with... the girls.

Dreant Firebane

Dreant caught his breath and let his bulging eyes calm back into his head. he was perched on a branch, not too far out of town. the frightening senario ran over in his mind again and again. the girl, she had gotten so close, andshe had attacked him, he still felt that chill around his ankle.

then Dreant tilted his head, she hadn't really been violent though, she talked, rather than hit.... maybe she was nice.... Dreant narrowed his eyes, or maybe she wanted him to stay, and let himself be beaten, or slain.... or maybe she would see if he had any importance, or goods on him.... wicked human.

A breeze picked up, whistling lightly and sending the branch he was on boobing up and down. or maybe not.... yes, she was a killer. but she was also nice.... a nice killer? or a confused nice girl? or a confused killer?

Dreant garbled quietly, the more he thought the more confused he himself became. he decided to go back, the town wasn't big, and if one person was ready to talk.... maybe more were?

Dreant leapt from branch to branch, by the timehe had come back to the town, the sun was beginning to drop from the sky, being tired himself, he noticed a large building, and scrambled up along the nearest tree, this building would be good wind cover. he looked in a window, it had beds and such. must be one of those inns he had heard about. he sat, and slowly began to fall asleep.

- Hotaru's heart was in her throat as the man approached her, she nodded softly... this forest was far too strange -

"I understand, I will leave, right now.. "

- Her heart caught in her throat as she walked to her glaive, and picked up. She figured that the man.. or whatever he was, would deal with the other two warriors.

Hotaru's eyes were soft and innocent as she looked at him -

"I didn't mean to distrub you sir, I assure you it won't happen again"

- Her voice almost caught in her throat as she turned and made her way back into town -

Raen felt strange. He'd been tensing himself for a confrontation. Other people were always trouble, you just had to take a look at his family to see that. But then the girl just left, even apologising. And her eyes were so... innocent.

'Ah, hell', he said out loud. He glanced down at the other two. 'Don't mess with the forest', he said, with a certain amount of haste, and then chased after the departing girl, stepping in her path.

'You shouldn't be allowed out, girl', he growled. 'Whether you can use that glaive of yours or not, you're trouble waiting to happen. I'm seeing you to the edge of the forest. It's probably the only way I'll get some peace'

That wasn't the whole truth. Something had awakened in Raen, and he didn't like it. Other people were always trouble.

'I'm Raen', he added gruffly
