Pleasure Kingdoms: Second Attempt

Taren

Taren grinned at Hotaru's words, her approval sweeter than the victory...if it was a victory. He slid the scythe back into the pouch, keeping his eye on the massive body of the troll. He reached back, pulling Overture and Finale free of the earth. "I think you're right...long as these guys aren't playing possum."

He noticed her trying to cover herself, and blushed again. He stepped away from the trolls, closer to the slender girl and the unicorn. Finale slid into it's harness as he again rummaged around in the leather pouch at his waist, this time pulling a long, thick hooded cloak free. The garment was the same dark blue as the tunic he wore under the bright blue breastplate. "Um, Here Hotaru...you can use this to cover up with." Though he felt a faint desire to see her so exposed, which he quickly surpressed. Her hand touched his as she took the cloak from him, a tiny electric thrill running through him at her touch.

Hotaru smiled at him, then turned her head to Logan. Taren quirked an eyebrow, then realized he was "speaking" to her. He hesitated a moment, then strode over to where Shizura stood with the two swordsmen who had fought alongside her. "Shizura, are you all right?" He took a moment to look around the town, where villagers were now peeking out from behind shutters at the carnage. "I think once we get everyone healed up, we need to find out what's going on. The Holy One flew off after the rest of the goblins, and may need a hand. I've got a bad feeling about all this...do trolls and goblins usually work together like this?"

Zarl of the Macrai-Itoche (Flesh)

He pulled free his katana, wiping its blade clean before sliding it hom in his scabbard. He stretched, looking at the man who'd basically finished off the second troll.

"Trolls tend to fight alone, and although goblins tend to work in small groups, they don't usually show this level of teamwork. And for the two of them to be working together,...."

He shook his head, moving over to the goblins. The ones killed first were begining to change over now, the void they were made of losing it's physical form as the body was destroyed. Soon, only crystals would be left of the bodies, and a little blood might mark the battle.

He nodded, and looked over his shoulder at Shizura as the body at his feet moved on. "So, you guys gonna follow this? I'm thinking about coming along, if you are. This behavior's kind of strange. That and this shirt's really confining and people are looking, ya know?"

Lavastine ~

The stones in the daggers were glowling brightly, one set was green emerald, other set was ruby red. Both daggers landed in the chest of my last troll, burying deep in its lungs. Gave off one final kick sending it to the ground stumbling and begging for air.

Peeked out through the slit of the hood, observing the others to see if they were almost done, or needed help. All the pretty girls seemed defensless, a slight laugh coursed inside. All the guys seemed to be protecting each of them. Least, the filthy creatures were thinning out and in the process of being cleaned out.

Felt the burning in my both fore arms near the wrists when the ruby stones went off, giving me power for the fire sheild. No-one saw them glowing or even knew they were there, so far, *cept the day we all met,* every inch of my skin had been covered. They were not glowing out in the feild when they all came either. This had been the first time they had *come to life* since meeting these people.

Stood there a few moments letting the other fights calm as they finished. The flame sheild around me was dieing out in the time I was calming down, this took longer than normal for my body to cool, wasn't used to fighting with all these garments on. Normally took the cloak and gloves off, letting some of my skin have contact to the cool air. Not this time, had to becareful about such things while in town, even with all the fighting, screaming.

- Hotaru instinctively brought her slender digit touch to her necklace -

"This? I have always had this... it was my birthright... "

- She didn't know quite how to explain it, and how could she when she barely understood herself?

It was then she turned to Taren who had given her a cloak to wear, as she reached for it she felt the electic tingles herself, causing her to blush deeply... -

"Arigatou, Taren-san"

- She turned her attention back to Logan, despite the others that had mentioned the occasional troll and goblin attacks... -

"It doesnt' hurt any when you shape-shift does it Logan?"

That and this shirt's really confining and people are looking, ya know?"

- At the mention of a confining shirt Hotaru had pulled the cloak tighter around her, her violet hues looking over the newest strangest she had yet to meet. He looked formidable enough at least.

Then her eyes turned to Shizura, the young magician who always had the attention of every male of the group. This made her smile to herself, she was really uncomfortable with anyone giving her too much attention...

She knew Logan would answer her question soon, and the danger looked to be minimal so she carefully put her necklace back under her dress. -

"I have to go buy myself some new clothes too... "

Lavastine ~

Once my body had cooled down enough, wiped off the daggers blood onto the goblins taggered material that clinged to its body. Took a quick look at what I could of my cloak making sure nothing was ripped, or worse, had blood spots on it. Listened for Zarls voice, lowering my gaze down keeping my face hidden, walked to the sound of his voice. Once I approached him, heard that he wanted to go with them, stood off to his side thinking about it and he's right, this was very odd. My words were directed to the mage girl, but since I wasn't looking at anyone in particular it was hard to tell who I spoke to;

"I shall go with you as well, if you wish that is. I have nothing better to do...."

Now that I said that, thought actually I could be doing something right now.... For now I had to behave. Its pretty sad when a battle and fighting can be arousing.

"Also I should probably retrieve my horse, assuming the goblins did not have him for breakfast."

Which by now they most likely did, there is always one way to find out.. The hard way..

Logan

"Sounds like the one I wear" He replied as she told him her necklace had been a birthright item.

He looked to Hotaru as Taren handed her his cloak. The she asked him if it hurt to change. "No Hotaru, it never has hurt to change.. I've been able to do it for awhile now."

He heard her mention buying new clothes as the others talked about going to see if there were more goblins and trolls around. "I need to do that as well.. I was actually able to get my shirt to change with me this time, but the change is not all that kind to my clothes."

He stepped away from the group a little, so that he could shake the goblin yuck off of him. He shook from nose to tail and easily removed the remains of the goblin off his horn. He was thankful that for some reason the horn was easy to clean.

He looked back to the others to see what they were now planning on doing.

"Ah well then, you can come with me. "

- Hotaru smiled warmly -

"Its not quite as exciting when you have to shop alone.. I always went shopping for clothes with my father... "

- Hotaru had watched the exchange between Lavastine and Zarl -

"Are those two lovers Logan?"

- She looked up at Logan with curiousity... -

Logan

”I’d be more than happy to escort you shopping Hotaru, but I think to do that I’ll need to change and run inside to get my other things, for I don’t think they’d let me come in without pants either.” He’d have smiled then to let her know he was kidding, but he knew he’d still have to change to go buy his clothes.

He followed her gaze over to Zarl and Lavastine, “Well, I assume they are lovers, as we mistakenly interrupted them yesterday in the woods.” He knew telling her so directly might cause her to blush again, but he didn’t know of any other way to state the fact and he was a little more tactful than to say he thought they were having sex.

”We should get shopping then, the shops are now opening as the threat of the goblins and trolls are gone for them for now. I need to change and get my things quickly. Then we can go. Maybe Taren or the others needs time to shop as well.”

"Ow."

Slowly, grimacing, Shizura got to her feet, still blinking the lightning flash out of her eyes -- even though she somehow managed to remain cute-looking despite the blood on her shirt and her confused expression, she certainly looked the worse for wear.

One more time...

"Lifeblood Heal!"

Though still drained looking, her cut vanished, with the blood that had dripped out magicially being drawn back into the cut, as if in reverse. Her shirt was still stained, but there was no scar; only the torn midriff of her shirt remained as a sign of the arrow attack.

"There were even more goblins than we thought," Shizura said, shaking her hair back and adjusting her pretty headband. "I didn't expect them to come around back and get you, Hotaru. Of course, I didn't expect the arrow attack, either. I'm glad everyone's alright." She smiled, and even though the wears and tears of battle remained, and even though she had been wounded and might have died had it not been for her companions, her face gleamed with the light of victory. She raised her wooden mace and looked up, holding the tip up to the sun and watching the light filter in from behind it, becoming her own personal eclipse as she spoke.

She glanced back at Zarl and Lavastine, smiling prettily at both of them. "You... helped us. Thank you, whatever your reasons..." Her voice was soft. She seemed geniunely and pleasantly surprised. "You didn't owe me anything for the room, considering how I had... disturbed you... but... thank you. I believe I owe you now, Sir M..."

She flushed immediately, remembering. "Ah... how should I refer to you? I don't think we ever really introduced ourselves civilly, considering the circumstance..."

She glanced over at Logan. "We ought to finish up and get some supplies," she said softly, unknowingly echoing his thoughts. "Plus, we need to wake up Shard, and get Laramie." She turned over to Seth, stepping closer, and looked up at him. "Thanks for coming to help," she said, and though her voice seemed genuine, there was a hard edge to her eyes that only the mage noticed.

She blinked and looked over at Kevin, who had been watching the entire battle wide-eyed. "Hey, Mister Wild," she said, smiling gently. It's nice to have someone who seems less experienced than me... "Did you pick up anything?"

Taren

Taren wiped his blades clean on the grass, twirling them back into the harness on his back. "Good idea, Shizura. No telling how long this might take, we should all get supplies for a few days." He raised a hand to his brow, gauging the height of the sun. "It's your call, Shizura, but I don't think we should wait longer than half a candlemark. The trail will be cold by then, but we should still be able to find it. Longer than that..." He raised his hands up in a gesture of uncertainty.

Taren took a moment to watch the monsters bodies as they transformed into the brilliant purity of crystal. Always such an incredible thing...he felt a surge of pride looking at the two he had downed himself as they sparkled in the morning sun. Taren noticed a bit of stiffness in Shizura's gait as she moved to speak to the other swordsman...what was that about? Her spell should have eliminated any pain. "I'll leave the divying up of the crystals to you, Shizura. I trust you." Then he winked, "Two kills and an assist for me so far, mark it. 10 says I have the most at day's end." He grinned at Shizura as she looked back at him, eyes bright at the challenge. "Half a candle mark to shop, then meet back here?" She pursed her lips in pretty thought, before agreeing.

"As you say, leader." Taren threw her a salute and then walked back to where Hotaru and Logan stood. The wind was blwong, stirring both her hair and the unicorn's mane as they stood atop the small rise of the common. Taren stopped short, watching her as she spoke softly to the great equine. He wished he could have frozen that image...it was lovely. That shade of blue suited Hotaru well. Shaking himself free of the spell of the moment, he hailed them as he approached. "Hotaru, Logan! Shizura thinks we should gear up before heading out, so we've got half an hour. I could stand to get a few things, how about the two of you?"

Logan

He turned his amber gaze from Hotaru to Taren. "We were just discussing that as well. I need to change back and get my pack from my room, but changing here in front of the ladies would not be the best idea as I would only be wearing my shirt."

He glanced back towards the Inn briefly, "I know I can't go back inside like this either." He looked back to Taren,"Being able to change is nice, but can be a bit of an inconvienience when there are plenty of pretty ladies about. Give me five minutes and I'll meet you and Hotaru back out here, to go get our supplies."

He looked to Hotaru then, "Hotaru, I will return shortly. I need to get my pack from my room before we go shopping. I asked Taren to wait here for me. I would ask the same of you as I still would enjoy escorting you to the shops."He awaited their responses before stepping off headed for the rear entrance to the Inn, he knew he could probably change back there and then make it back to his friends in the time he had mentioned.

Once around the back of the inn he was able to quickly change back and head inside, dressed of course in only his shirt. He headed upstairs to his room and grabbed his pack. He reached inside and pulled out his clothes, he was about to start dressing when he heard the door open then quickly close behind him. He turned to look and there standing with her back against the door was one of the serving wenches from the night before. "Um, I think you're in the wrong room."

"No.. no I'm not. I saw you come in with your friends last evening. That was so nice of all of you to rid the town of that menacing dragon." She smiled as she stepped towards him.

He had continued to dress as she spoke, knowing his friends were waiting outside. "Well it wasn't a problem, we were glad to do it." He wasn't about to tell her that the dragon had only been Eeve and there had really been no danger.

"Well, I just wanted to thank you properly and you disappeared so early last night." She smiled moving to him, she kissed him. "I think you deserve to be thanked."

He couldn't help but redden slightly as she kissed him, he hadn't expected that, but maybe he should have. She stepped back and undid the lacing on her bodice. He watched a moment, before it sunk in once more that Hotaru was waiting for him.

"Oh... Miss please that is not necessary. My friends and I appreciated the free rooms and food and drinks... but we are about to leave to go after.. the trolls. There are more than just the few out there." He picked up his pack off the bed, she followed him.

"Oh come on.. a handsome young man such as yourself, I am sure sleeping alone can be a little frustrating. All I want to do is have a little fun showing you how appreciative we really are for the help you and your friends are giving the town." She ran delicate fingers along his jawline, and then down his throat and across, his chest, ever drawing her hand lower.

He stopped her hand before it could reach his belt. He was already feeling a bit uncomfortable with his reaction to her, if she had come to him last night he wouldn't have turned her down. Now was not the time. "Miss I really.. I really would love to stay, but there is no time." He had moved so she was near the bed and him closer to the door.

She glanced down at his crotch and saw the erection there, she smiled knowing it probably would take too much more convincing."Oh.. come on, it looks as if someone is interested."

He cleared his throat, "That may well be, but as I said I... my friends are waiting, again I am sorry." He opened the door and stepped out into the hall.

She sighed as he slipped from her, "Maybe when you return...." her voice lowered as she redid the tie on her bodice."If you return."

Logan headed down the stairs after a few adjustments, lord knew he didn't want to come racing out of the inn to face Hotaru and the others in that state. He headed out the front door to where the others waited, "Alright... I think I am ready now." He looked to Hotaru and Taren, "So where should we start?"

- Hotaru had greeted Taren with a smile, she too had noticed Shizura's powerful magick and couldn't help but to envious of the beautiful young magician, especially with her mid driff bare...

Her violet hues then turned to Logan, who had to go and change... she watched Logan leave and saw though the inn window the other woman there. -

"Everyone seems to have lovers... "

- She stood there for a moment, watching the shadow of the woman.. because she would not quite make the woman out.. but it seemed pretty naughty as to what they were doing.. with a blush she turned away and smiled awkardly at Taren. -

"We should go to the heart of the village, I hear they have some good quality clothes there and my dad packed me with two bags of gold... "

- After a few moments, Logan came down.. and even though it was hard for Hotaru to look him in the eyes, she did anyway, and coughed as she did it -

"Logan, I didn't know you had a girlfriend... "

- With a soft smile she turned back to Taren -

"Do you have one too?"

- Her voice was softer, as if she almost didn't want to ask. Instinctively she pulled the cloak tighter around her... she was looking forward to spending the time with both Taren and Logan. -

"And I thought we should start in the village heart... "

- She smiled at Logan thoughtfully -

"Logan, I didn't know you had a girlfriend... " He looked to Hotaru.

He flushed slightly. "I -I um don't.. she was just um... wanting to thank me for us helping with the dragon last night." He seemed a little embarrassed.

He felt saved when she turned and asked Taren if he had a girlfriend. Then mentioned that they should start in the heart of town. "That would probably be best. I really only need some clothes to take with me. I have a few food things in my pack and if things run short I can always change and graze." He smiled a little at that. Being a shapeshifter did have some little advantages.

The dragon had chased the goblin which she had hit with the fireball by the scent of burnt flesh. The goblin had stopped in a clearing to try and nurse it's wounds, but that was it's fatal mistake. With a roar and a fiery blast, the dragon was on top of the goblin. The blast had thourghly cooked the goblin, causing it to squel in pain before it died.

She took a large chunk of burnt gfoblin meat from the corpse before it started to turn into a crystal. She swallowed the bite whole before slowly reverting back to her human form in her priestess gown. She sighed softly for a moment before picking the crystal up and placing it in her blackhole container.

"I'm going to have to hunt more wildlife, rather than monsters. They don't last very long. Now where am I?"

She stood up and looked around the clearing, trying to see if she could see any familiar surroundings. She really hadn't been paying attention which way she was going during the chase, but she smiled seeing the road back to town a few feet away.

She hummed softly as she made it to the road and started towards town, but it looked like she had flown away from town at least a good half hour to hour's walk.

Zarl of the Macrai-Itoche (Flesh)

He looked around, and then towards the magician girl. "Well, Shizura, you announced yourself when you barged in on us. My name is Zarl, and that is what you can call me. She is Lavastine."

He motioned to the dark elf, and then grabbed up the goblin crystal running up to the one woman, the man, and the unicorn-man. "Hello, all! My name is Zarl, if we're travelling together, perhaps you'd like to introduce yourselves?"

He bowed to Hotaru. "Especially the pretty girl here, who seems so interested in everyone's love lives?"

"Um.. um.."

- Hotaru stammered at Zarl's comment... she was a little embrassed to say why she was so interested in everyone's love lives... -

"I'm.. I'm Hotaru, people closer to me call me Firefly... "

'Firefly of Destruction...'

- She looked at Zarl, hoping he wouldn't press the relationship thing.. but, being the person that she was to answer each and every question she was asked truthfully... she answered anyway.. -

"I am interested because... I am not involved..."

Zarl of the Macrai-Itoche (Flesh)

He smiled, in the predatory way that only a monster could. He licked across the edges of his teeth behind closed lips, his violet eyes, those odd violet eyes with golden flecks, looked her over before focusing on her own.

"Really? You're not involved, and so you're interested? My, interested in what, may I ask? Interested in someone to dally with a little, or are you looking for something more permanent?"

He looked her over, and smiled again. "I am Zarl, Hotaru. And perhaps once we are away from prying eyes I can introduce myself more fully."

- Hotaru pulled the cloak over her head, and tighter to her body. The way that Zarl looked at her, it made her feel as if he was the wolf and she was the lamb...
even the way he licked his lips, ...

"Really? You're not involved, and so you're interested? My, interested in what, may I ask? Interested in someone to dally with a little, or are you looking for something more permanent?"
-

".... "

- She would of answered him, if she knew what she wanted. But she also did not want to get caught up in the lusts of men... such things made her uncomfortable -

"I am Zarl, Hotaru. And perhaps once we are away from prying eyes I can introduce myself more fully." -

"....I am not a wench."

Taren

The half elven warrior had blushed and looked away at Hotaru's question, embarrassed partly because of his answer, there was nother reson...but he wasn't sure what it was. Whatever it was, the question coming from her seemed to scramble his wits a bit. When he had gotten his head together, one of hte mysterious swordsmen had introduced himself...and was making some very untoward advances.

Taren's face hardened, his hands flexing into fists as the man leered at Hotaru. Who the hell did he think he was? There was something about the man, something familiar and sinister, that Taren took an instand dislike to. However...Shizura had included him in the party...so he would have to work with him. And he was an excellent fighter.

Taren, his face in a smile that did not reach his eyes, stepped up next to Hotaru. "Well met, Zarl, and Ms. Lavastine. My name is Taren. It'll be good to fight alongside you...you both have impressive abilities." He had smoothly interposed himself between Zarl and the slender girl as he held his hands palm up and bowed in an old elven gesture of meeting. "In the interest of party unity, I don't think Hotaru is interested in the way you are, Zarl. I wouldn't take it personally. If you'll excuse us, we have to grab a few supplies before the hunt starts. See you back here in half a candlemark."

He offered his arm to Hotaru, "We should get started, don't you think? "Time is wasting." He made a breif mental note as waited for her reply...Zarl bore watching. And Taren would be damned before he ever left her alone with him.

- Hotaru felt protected after Taren stepped between her and Zarl, and some how... safer... it wasn't like she didn't like Zarl, it was just that look.. and that response... -

"Hai, hai.. shopping"

- She took his arm as he asked and walked with him into the heart of the village, knowing that Logan would soon catch up. When they were far away enough from the group, she stopped walking and stepped infront of him, placing her hands delicately on his chest -

"I wanted to thank you.. for getting me away from Zarl.. I mean, i'm sure he is a good guy and all.. I just don't do well with sexual inneudos... "

- She blushed and looked behind her, seeing a clothing shop for men and woman.. -

"Should we go in there?"

Taren

Taren blushed when she put her hands on his chest, part of wishing that he had left the blue enamled breastplate off this morning. Though he was sure it would likely cause him to make a fool of himself, he wanted to feel her touch. Hoping he wasn't getting himself into trouble, he covered her hands with his own, the same electric feelign as before racing through him.

"You're welcome, Hotaru. As for Zarl...we'll see... but to the shopping." Not wanting to darken the mood, he smiled down at her. His voice was soft, and a bit shy when he spoke again. "By the way...I don't have a girlfriend. Just to answer your question."

He somehow felt he should say more, but couldn't think of anything. Instead he just looked into those deep, luminous violet eyes, unaware that he had taken a step closer to her.

It took him several moments to come to his senses. His smile became sheepish, and he reluctantly moved his hands. "Ah...yeah, um, yes, that looks like a good place to start." He strode over to the door, holding it open for the blue cloaked girl. "After you, Hotaru."

I was laughing so hard on the inside. All these men *flocking* over the helpless new female. It was typical. I bet deep down that innocence of hers, she wasn't so helpless, if she was there was something wrong.

Being the silent type that I was, I had to get out of this town, all these people were killing me, I hated to hide within the cloak. Granted the silver skulls outlining it was awesome, but it brought to much attention. Making me look like an necromancer or something evil...... Well guess I am evil...

"I'll meet you all outside of town, while you men flock and google over the little princesses. See you hopefully soon."

I picked up a few of the gems of the gobblins that I had killed, within a heart beat I gone, snaking my way out of the city. I wasn't worried about supplies, I always made sure I had more than enough, plus if I can't get food off the land then what good was it. As for clothes, I had enough to get me by.

Went to the spot where we all met, being greeted by Luthas The horse I had stolen... No saved...
Let down the hood to my cloak, taking off the gloves. Took sometime to fix my blood red hair, french braided it down its length. Soon after taking off the cloak altogether, showing off the leather that Zarl dressed me in, tight fit to show off my devlish body.

"Much better...... My sweet Luthas, I am so glad that you are not hurt."

Attending to the horse as I wait for the lust filled group. Had to chuckle to myself at the thought that this may end up being one big orgy before to long, or at least those princesses with be in for one hell of a night....

- Well, yes, Hotaru was innocent.. and she did have a great deal of power within her.. she was also just very new to things like lust, sex, love, killing... she had been isolated for most of her life.

Now, standing infront of Taren as he took a step closer to her and held her hand, she felt warm, and comforted. The auras in fact of Shizura, Logan, and Taren... were that of light and love. The two things she held so highly most, if not all of her life. -

"Taren, I would of thought you would have had a girlfriend... you are a very special person... "

- Hotaru smiled warmly, still a blush on her cheeks, but the moment he let go of her hands to ask about shop, she wanted to reach for him.. but she didn't.

Instead, her petite slender digits clasp infront of her, she began walking towards one of the venture stores. -

"Um.. here... it looks really nice"

- When they walked in, the shopkeeper was a jolly old man, humming to himself as he kept his eyes on Hotaru and a couple of other woman who were also looking around. As luck would of had it, there were some good male clothes in there as well. -

"Oh, Taren... this place looks perfect...."

Thunk.

Evee jumped back a little as an arrow whizzed in front of her and lodged into a nearby tree trunk. She held onto her staff as she looked around trying to find who shot the arrow at her.

"Well, well, aren't you a sight for lonely eyes pretty.."

A man dressed in black, holding a bow and a quiver of arrows jumped down from one of the trees. He looked very much like the typical bandit that usually plagued the road, but he was alone.

"It's been a day since some good pickings came along along, and you beauty are the best one I have caught. You can just hand over you valubles now, as well as those pretty robes. I think I will have some fun with you as well."

He grinned as he pulled out a dagger and began advancing towards her.

"But..but...Please leave me alone.."

Evee backed up as well, clutching the staff against her body protectively.

"Aww, how cute, trying to beg for mercy. Well it isn't going to work missy. You are mine and no one can help you now."

The man was at the edge of the road by the time Evee had back into another clearing a few feet away. She was scared for a few moments, but then remembered that she was supposed to be strong at times like these. She stopped and slowly held her staff up to the sky.

"Flames of the Heavens,
heed my call.
Clean this trouble from around me and kept me safe.
FLAME TOWER!"

"What the he...AH!"

The bandit screamed as a wall of intense fire erupted in a circle from around Evee, ten feet high. The bandit was incenerated into a pile of ash, but the spell was a bit more than she thought she needed. The wall rushed outward for fifty feet, catching trees on fire, as well as making a few of the explode. A large chunk of wood flew from one of the trees behind her, knocking her out cold.

She laid in a heap in the middle of the clearing while the outer edge and parts of the forest began burning, dense black smoke bellowing into the sky about half a mile from town.

Lavastine ~

Taking care of the horses beautiful black mane and tail, braiding silver skulls within the hair, marking him as mine sort of speak. Slight faint smell of fire started to fill the air, it became stronger within a few moments followed by smoke and burning trees.

First looked towards the town, wasn't from that direction, it wasn't far from me at all. Put on the cloak once again in case people from the town were running about frantically. Slid onto Luthas's back and took a full run towards the fire getting there in mere seconds, seeing a figure down on the ground. Hard at first to tell who it was ............. Dragon girl?! Evee I think....

Wondered what could have happened as I got off the horse, she was still, but didn't look hurt, lifting her up in my arms to drap her over the horses back. Looked around to see just how bad the fire was, luckily I know how to play and control fire if nothing else.

Blazing fire that dances the land,
dance no more,
die down the flames
and be at peace.

The fire was big enough that I had to chant the spell a few times, soon the flames were dieing out just in time for the towns people to come pouring down the path. Quickly grabbed her staff and jumped back onto the horse, holding Evee so she wouldn't fall off, full run back to the clearing, if I was caught at the scene with Evee in my arms, passed out, and flames all around. Who do you think was to get blamed? The dark elf of course, wasn't about to stick around for that.

Once we got to the clearing, I slid off first then lightly bringing her to the ground till she wakes, drapping my cloak over her for the time. Hopeing the others will return soon. I did look over her more closly to see if there were any wounds that I did miss, there was a bump on the back of her head, nothing else. I had to admitt she was a pretty one, never really thought about another female like that. It was strange, though I found a way to ignore it, going back to the mane of the horse so keep from staring at Evee, wasn't much that can be done with her passed out.
