"I hope that you know, that you feel, like you're one of us now. You're not just traveling along, you know. I, I mean, all of us, feel like, well, like you belong with us." He looked into the woods, a shy smile on his face. I couldn't imagine not having you here with us."
Ritsuko had been carefully awaiting any reply Taren might have had for her, even as she had called out to Evee and requested parlay. The half-elf's words brought a delicate blush to her skin right as she had begun to end her words with the dragon priestess. Slowly she turned back to him, gazing down upon his seated form. Taking a moment for thought, the samurai simply nodded once in acknowledgement of his requests.
"Very well, this evening if you are not too tired from your training I would be happy to spar with you. As for how I feel...."
Not for the first time that day, Ritsuko found herself choosing her words carefully, trying to collect her own thoughts as to how she really felt.
"I am glad that I am here to aid you, and am deeply honored at the help I have recieved in return. I wish that my presence among you wouldn't bring such trouble, but I fear that such things cannot be avoided, so I drive those feelings from my mind rather than let them steal away from my focus."
Again that slow smile crept stealthily across her face.
"I do feel welcome here, and a part of this group. I would risk my safety for any here, and it has been proven that I am not to be left to die in combat either. Not only that, but I truly enjoy the company, it has to be preferred to walking the rest of my life alone. I cannot imagine travelling with anyone else at this moment."
