There have been some very good submissions for the Halloween contest and I thought I'd offer a plug for some of the authors who don't appear to post on AH.

Have to put in my vote for this one. Humor and satire is my favorite category but it's really hard to do, so this comes as a wonderful surprise. It's hilarious. And this is the sequel, which is even better.

That was really funny and stuff but i didn't have a spray thingy to do the monitor thing and I dont drink coffee but does it clean the screen better than window cleaner cause thats what I use and it works really good and stuff but the story did make me spit out my gum cause I was laughing so hard I inhaled a bug and it got stuck in my gum and that was really gross and stuff.

Just read Fractured and it totally blew me away. The writing is so restrained, but cuts deep. The character development is fantastic, the emotions that run through the piece and the style in which it is written - awesome. Very, very powerful story.

The author isn't taking feedback, but after reading this story, I just had to write this somewhere. Glad for this thread.
