I didn't even know! Wow... Hmm...I'll have to check it out next weekend. By any chance do you know exactly which bus I should take? :eek: I still don't really know my way around (even though I should...I don't get out too often).

this was a very good idea to ask this question .
Myself I'm one of those lucky lushy bbw . I have found a few good places to get nice lingerie .
My first place is www.ladybwear.com their clothes are high but the quality is great . There is a 3 to 4 week wait to get items sent to you . But the wait is worth it .
My second and I think favorite is www.BigGalsLingerie.com this website over you many choices . You can pick the fabric the size the texture everything you could ask for . The prices are great there is a 2 week wait to get the items . Everything is hand made . It is worth the time and the money to get just what you want .
the third is ebay . You can get some good deals but the choice is what the sellers offer . I got some great deal but to get just what you want I pick Big Gals Lingerie .

how do you know what size is right?.....regular sizes are numbers 34 35 36....ect......and then it goes 1X 2X 3X....ect.....im lost??....

Don't feel bad, us ladies are too most of the time. It ends up being pretty much a guessing game...you find something that may fit and then move up a size or down a size. Since I'm guessing you may be buying for a lady, trying sneaking a peak in her regular clothes and always check to see if the store where you are purchasing the item has a return policy......

Oops I did, didn't I...nice pics by the way....Iveo if your lady is on the petite side, I believe 5'4" is the line, you may want to check on the length as well...

See that just isn't right.... I would love to be able to wear a garter and stockings, that don't roll off the wrong way when I put them on. My legs are a huge area on me, I could almost live with everything else if my legs were just a bit more little, almost

I would be willing to try on something like that as well if my thighs were smaller. I've always loved my calves, even if they're larger than some women's, because I've always felt that they were relatively shapely and proportional to my body (it helps having tap danced for 13 years of my life). But those thighs! I commend any woman who has perfect thighs. Most of us hate ours, either because they're too big or too small and boney or whatever the reason. They are the first to gain weight and the last to lose weight. But even so, they sure make it difficult to buy stockings for those of us with large thighs. Yeesh.

That is the part I really don't understand about their site. They do have stockings that go up to a size 5x-6x (5'6" to 6'2", 290 to 335 lbs), but the garter belts required to wear them only go up to a 34" waist. I'm not sure about anyone else, but I don't know too many women who weigh 290 and have a 34" waist. Hell, I'm not quite 200 and I have a 39" waist!

Granted, they do have a very limited color selection of thigh highs in those sizes that don't require a garter belt, but for me that is half of the look. What's a gal to do?

They have pull on garters that only go on the legs. The sizes for those is up to 33" but that's just the thigh. You can supposedly wear them if the top of your thigh measures less than 33".

Okay I live north of the American border but shop there often. In fact I shop there for most of my lingerie. However I was in a local plus size store and found the most delicious lingerie Ive ever seen.

One thing I think would be perfect for you College Geek, is a sheer baby doll style chemise with a matching thong. WAIT dont get turned off by the thong, it was highwaisted and a deeper v cut. Lots of coverage in the front. The top was somewhat a bra strap with a bra like top with underwire, this would lift what you have and make it more noticable. I even tried it on! WOW- now for you American ladies, coming to Canada, check out Addition- Elle.

The place I simply adore in the states is Lane Bryant, in Port Huron the store has a 12.00 bra rack. Many shapes and sizes to choose from, and a panty bin, usually 2/ 10$ or something like that. What I like about their stuff is they have bras and panties which arent necessarily sets but their lines for each season usually run with the same colours, if there is a pattern in the bra they will make thongs in each of the colours to -go with them.

Now when I was in P. H. I stepped into Fashion Bug, I found the most beautiful bra ever and a matching garter. Black with heavy red lace in a rose pattern, not too gaudy, very very sexy! I did have a good search on my hands to find the stockings though. Up here you cant find plus sized stockings so when I find them in the States I usually buy 5-6 pairs.

When you see the 1x. 2x, 3x sizing make sure you ask, each store is different and sometimes even posts the conversion. Dont be affraid to ask, its better then having to stuff them in your drawer and not wear them because they are unreturnable.

I love Fashion Bug for normal clothing. That's where I do most of my shopping, but I've never actually looked at their lingerie (mainly because my mom is usually with me at the time). I don't know if it would work for me, bra-wise, because I think that they cater to the plus-size on top woman. I have a large band size, but a small cup size. Not a fun combo.

I'm not completely scared by the idea of a thong. My boyfriend asked if he could see me in one, and I said yes, but I don't think I'd go parading around in one all the time. The idea of me in one is a bit shocking for me, but I'm willing to try anything once. :) I do like the idea of a baby doll, though. I feel that those would be the most flattering to me, since they aren't really form fitting, like a teddy or something. Thanks for the suggestions! :rose:
