PM'ing Laurel

If 2,5 days have passed since I contacted Laurel with a problem, and nothing has happened, is she choosing not to help or has she just not seen it yet?

I've read that when others contact her, the issue is solved within 24 hours. I'm a little discouraged.

I'd still like to know why some of my threads with over 100 pages were removed with no notice or even a reason that triggered the removal in the first place.

It might not have been your post specifically, but something someone else posted. There is typically one reason, above all else, that gets threads yanked; and that is, well I can't get too explicit (or this thread will get yanked too) but it has to do with mentioning people who are under a certain ___ in any kind of sexual situation.

Make a post about that- thread goes away; full stop. Make a post and expressing racist, hate-speech or other memes that incite or promote violence, and, well, these days that seems to be okay, though at one time those threads used to get deleted as well. I'm guessing SOMEONE (other than you obviously) may have broken that "under a certain chronological state" rule and the admins cracked down.

She used to remove the offending post and then ban the poster...not the entire thread. That means that any asshole can potentially bring down any thread they don't like by putting an objectionable post on it. if Laurel is too busy to properly mod the board, then she should delegate it to someone else who can.
