This thread reminded me that I have some old poetry to post on Lit. This one isn't BDSM-y, but it's one of my favorites and it represents what I believe love should be.
END
Ever, my love, I’ll wait for you
‘Til skies are black instead of blue
And everything that once was new
Is now a pile of dust
‘Til good men harbor evil ways
And night has overtaken day
When dreams are full of yesterdays
And lies and broken trust
When hope becomes a memory
A happy thought that used to be
And land is overcome by sea
And life is random art
‘Til all that’s good is faded stone
And every child is left alone
Come make your troubled way back home
And find rest in my heart
