"Fuck!" Tina shouted as Robert "tripped and fell into her, knocking the coffee out of her hands to spill all over the floor. While most of the manor was already dusty and decrepit, the coffee certainly didn't help matters. The two of them toppled over, Robert wincing slightly upon impact. His bags of food were largely intact though thankfully, as he had the good grace to drop them rather than land on top of them. They groaned, each of them rubbing whatever sore part of their body got bonked the hardest.
Distracted by Grant for the moment, Dalia simply stood there and watched. Though she normally would have rushed over to help them both up, she didn't want to stray too far from Grant, should he open his eyes any time soon. It was obvious that she wanted to by the way her eyes seemingly caressed the man with obvious concern. "Are you guys okay?"
"Fine..." Tina grumbled, getting to her feet and rubbing her elbow. She sighed with disappointment at the spilled coffee and let out a frustrated growl, "fucking shit... that was like thirty bucks."
"Sorry," Robert spoke up in bewilderment, looking around before addressing them. "I could have sworn someone pushed me, but I don't know." He shrugged his shoulders and stooped to pick up the food bags. "Anyway, what's wrong with Grant?' He gestured with the bags toward the staircase.
That snapped Dalia out of her staring, the woman blushing slightly before shaking her head. "He might have been possessed. I think he could have fought it off, but just to be safe, we're getting the fuck out of here. Can you help us carry him?"
"Fuck..." Tina uttered, looking anxious at the news. She too had seen Grant from time to time when over at Dalia's house in high school, so he was also a family friend in a sense.
Robert nodded and put the bags of food down again before coming over. With Dalia's direction, She, Simon, Tina, and Robert were able to each grab a limb and start dragging/lifting Grant's body outside to the cars. It was tough going seeing as he was a heavy man, but they managed to grunt and strain their way through it.
