I am suddenly having trouble posting images, or formatting text in a forum post. I didn't use to have this problem, but the entire toolbar is disabled/greyed out for some reason. What am I doing wrong, or is this just a site issue? Or a browser issue?

Easy to test that last option: try on a different browser. Everything's normal for me (in Firefox).

You might have accidentally pushed the button on the toolbar for "BB code."
That button looks like a pair of square brackets: [ ]
It might be behind a three-dot "extra buttons" menu. Or it might not.
If you see/find that on your toolbar and push it again, the rest of the buttons should come back.

That was my first thought. I usually am trying to bold something and instead the bookmark tab opens up... or page inspector opens.
though if you learn BBcode, you can easily continue without needing to change modes...
