This thread has been popular for years because it is fun to mimic someone elses pose. I know you are active in the artistic thread, and I firmly believe that is where these pictures belong. Sassy - I get your point and I can't argue with what you've said. However, this thread was pretty dead despite some great recent contributions. We can be sticklers to the letter of the law (title/initial post of the thread) and discourage contributions to a forum that already struggles. My whole point in my comment to Salty wasn't to further piss him off but to maybe remind him that he's not the thread police here. I didn't see the video that he referenced and I have no idea if it was reposted elsewhere. I have, however, seen contributors who have deleted posts and disappeared over critism as simple as Salty's. Maybe your criticism of him is karma, who knows.

Regardless, I hope this board can become more inclusive and welcoming. When I discovered this board, you, tali and mooch were the unquestioned Queens of ampics and I would certainly defer to your expertise. That said, I think there is a big difference between calling out posters that post pics w/o permission and those that steal from the internet and try to pass it off as their own and the above beautiful, erotic and interesting work of art made by salty and EW. While it may not fall w/in the exact definition, it is 2 separate pics melded creatively and, more importantly, imo, it keeps this thread active.
In my comparatively brief time here, I've noted that @talikat just posts her wonderful and creative pics, compliments others and thanks those that compliment her. It fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment.

As someone that doesn't post pics, I understand the argument that I should just STFU and be happy to look. I'm a voyeur, so I shouldn't have a say. My response is exhibitionists and voyeurs need each other. W/o pervs like me, this place might very well be a ghost town.
So, in a world gone crazy with hate and conflict, how about if we strive to rise above it and be more tolerant and more appreciative of each other. After all, aren't we all here to have fun, and maybe live out a fantasy or 2.

I said early on that I was aware that the pics weren't to the letter of the law, but I felt they were within the spirit. That's why I posted Tali's reply saying 'very, very nice you two' after the first pic. I didn't realise that was code for 'stop posting pics that aren't strictly identical poses'. I took it as approval from the person who started the thread. Silly me

I understand why you say it isn't an issue. The definition to you is the letter of the law. Adhering to that got this thread exactly how many paired pics posted over the last 2 years? While that pic does violate the letter of the law, it follows the spirit of the law. Look at baseball. The game existed with its set of rules forever. It was America's past time not that long ago. But the game was in decline. It was taking too long, there were too many strikeouts and the shift was taking what used to be hits away. So baseball adjusted and it's mostly been positive. Please hear me when I say, you aren't wrong. I'm simply asking is there a harm in turning a blind eye?

And, on another note, I didn't mean to imply you didn't enjoy the photography. I was merely stating how I felt about it and pointing out that it never even entered my mind that it didn't comply with the thread. Having heard Salty's description of the video, he was correct to say something. Even I can't stretch to make a case that had any business here.

Okay, after reading through this, I'm going to give my two cents and, hopefully, everyone will have cooler heads when they return.

First, it  is important to keep the thread from unraveling and going in a different direction and it  does need policing and someone to make sure things don't happen that will cause it to be deleted. I've had that happen and it pissed me off. People jump into "Let's hear your voice" where people are conversing and put in their recorded orgasm. People put pics up in the "Arouse in five words". Things you'd  think wouldn't cross people's minds do cross it. Like that STARFISH in the bum thread. So, yes, policing is important.

Next, if it can be done in PM, it should be. The video that was put up should have been called out right away in the thread, like it was, I assume. I missed that part.

If someone is harassing you and calling you a bitch in PM, send a copy of it to the Mods. I don't know who it is here, but @ToPleaseHim would know!

I said that because there are already posts of this nature in the thread, however, I made exceptions years ago to Numi and Hornblende because they're a couple in real life, so she asked me if it was okay for them to take a picture together and post it since it's silly to take separate pics, which I agreed with, so yes, those pics are okay with me.

Once in a while is fine, but please don't make it the norm. There is already a mash up picture thread for those types of photos that I believe was a thread started by 'Massive Grooves', but not sure who the OP is at the moment.

I asked EW to remove her photo that was just her doing 3 different poses or she could get someone else to pair with her. She told me 'no' and that she would move it, but she didn't understand why I made allowances for the Chaos Crew picture and not for her picture. Obviously she never read the first post stating that the thread was for TWO or MORE people doing the same pose.
