I just had a thought.

What if ericviking69 and I post one time for each word in a sentence?

Our thoughts would be unreadable, esp mine, because i tend to be long-winded sometimes, but at least our post count would improve.

I think in outlining the One Rule in my initial posty, this was an example of a violation- ie, no one word posts. Female violators get violated. A chain, however, of phrases, might amuse, if it does not confuse.

Why do we pursue the milestones?
Not only 30, 100, 500, 1000, but in between, and beyond?
What drives us not only to obsess about Lit, but about compiling numbers of posts?


This thread is dedicated to discussing the " why?" our Lit addiction, and, of course , to being a posting slut, so post often. Keep it short, but keep the conversation going , please ( not just " this is Post 699").
