I suggested the Pinto because it is about the smallest domestic RWD Ford that I know of. Other choices would be an early Falcon or Ranchero. Early Maverick with the thin pre-federal bumpers would be cool, too.

DO NOT suggest putting it in a Dart, LOL. You have no idea how Psycho Mopar guys go when they see a non-Mopar engine in a Mopar. Not to mention it'd be a hassle getting it into a non Ford.

Nova would need the GM 502 Crate motor. Dart would need the mighty Hemi or a 440 based stroker (572, anyone? ) , though the 318 already does a good job. My Duster (Also an A body Mopar) is quite lethal with it's mild 318) Hornet could use a 401 out of a Jeep Wagoneer (Bolt In!)

On the topic of AMCs, Here's something I thought up that they could have used as a slogan.

"The AMC Gremlin...If the Hornet is a great car, 3/4 of one is still a damn fine automobile!"
