Of course he was wearing only a towel when he walked into the kitchen and she found herself blushing hotly now that the vibrato of her being half awake was gone.
“Of course,” she responded and poured him a cup of tea as well.
She sat down and was content to watch him go through the pantry, more content than she should have been and she it took her a moment to realize that he had asked her a question.
“Oh, whichever,” She responded and then added some honey to her tea.
She wondered if this was how things were going to play out. It seemed so domestic and normal, considering everything that had lead up to it, that she felt at ease. She wanted to hate him but just like everything else in life, he was gray, not black and white.
“I must warn you, I believe I’ve met one of your ex’s and she had nothing but terrible things to say about you. Can’t say I blame her,” She jested.
