Yes, I believe I have a few folks that don't like me. But you know what. I enjoy writing and I do it for me first and the reader second.

I did get one very viscious email... from anonymous, telling me I should kill myself and do all women kind a favor. That I was a fat whore. That my children were idiots. . .*sigh* Needless to say. . .that comment holds no weight with me. I don't mind the constructive critism at all, but the vicious and senseless attacks are not necessary. . .granted. . .this person couldn't spell half the words right, or capitalize them, so I really don't believe they know what the term idiot means from a hole in the ground.

I used to get a lot of them on the old choose your own story board that was up back around 2001. I did have some really extreme threads on that though.

Doesn't matter how extreme, wonderful, horribly written, bad grammered, misspelled. . .someone wrote it and to be cruel and claim your doing it to "help" a person. . .pfft. . .they do it because they want to make themselves feel better, or the story hit to close to home, or they don't like the writer, because they can't write and the writer either can, or at least tried.

I think the main reason they do it actually has very little to do with the writer or even the story, I think the main reason is just that the commenter has very little self esteem and by anonymously abusing complete strangers in such a disgusting way makes them feel just that litle bit better about themselves. It really is quite pathetic.
