Valas was surprised when Shayra made to try and pull him against her. He resisted at first, mostly out of sheer unfamiliarity. He'd of course soaked in a bath before, but he'd never been in one with a woman, and even if he had been in one with a woman before, she certainly wouldn't have been pulling him against her. While he did pull away from her touch initially, he did finally move back of his own volition, but there was a lot of tension in his body, especially when she slid her hand down his chest between his legs. He knew that she could order him to remain still if she wanted, but he still had one potential defense mechanism to fight against what she planned to do.
"You were wrong when you said that I am no better than your other slaves." Valas started simply, trying to distract Shayra away from the hand that was reaching between his spread legs. "Whether you brought me to your bed is irrelevant. You bought me because I can challenge you in a way that nobody else can. You can claim different if you want, but we both know the truth. I am unlike any slave you've ever had and likely will ever have again."
