Taki was talking to the messenger when the princess came into the room. The court seem to fall silent for a moment as the soon-to-be queen walking in, soon whispering spread among the crowd.

"It is ok m'dear. I was making sure the messenger would take the fastest route possible."

The messenger bowed as he take the letter carefully from the princess and turned, making his way out of the court.

The queen smiled softly as the princess curtesied and then held her hand gently as she guided her to the throne beside her. She gave a quick smile before looking out to the crowd.

"I declare from now till five days after the crowning a royal holiday. Let everyone in the kingdom celebrate the happy joining of our kingdoms."

There was a roar of approval and soon the word was sent out by runners into the countryside. Taki leaned over and gave Khati a soft kiss on her cheek and then turned her face to give her a deep, passionate kiss, her tongue sliding over Khati's in her sweet, hot mouth.

The kiss in front of all these people took me by surprise, at first wasn't sure of what to make of it. Unable to do much, for if I turned away from it, it may look wrong towards her. But the feeling of everyone looking and watching was to much.

It was always hard to show affection in front of people, wasn't allowed. Here.... here it was?!? Tried to let the feelings go and just enjoy what was happening, perhaps soon I won't care and it'll be the more natural thing. For now, it was all too new still.
Hesitantly reached one hand up and stroked it through her hair, showing Taki how much she meant to me. Even though I still didn't understand it, and also it was to show that I wasn't embarassed, even though a part of me was. Letting that slide as well. Her kiss seemed to have a way of making everything melt away. That I enjoyed.
