My wife is in the market for a new vibrator. Her weapon of choice is the pocket rocket. She goes through them at the rate of about one every 12 to 18 months. The safe choice, of course, would be to get her another. I am thinking of trying something new this time. The Trojan Tri-phoria that is advertised on TV looks interesting. Does anyone have any experience with this toy?

No, but I can't imagine anyone who knows anything about vibes would spend $40 on that thing. It appears to be a glorified pocket rocket that's less powerful than a $5 bullet vibe. If you're going to spend that much, you might as well get a Hitachi Magic Wand w/ the attachments, which will last a lot longer, comes with a great warranty and is something you both can really enjoy in all sorts of ways.

Have you asked your wife to look and see what she'd like to try in addition to the pocket rocket?

She likes it for basically three reasons: 1) size, it is small and easy to stash near the bed as well as carry conveniently in her purse when she needs it "to go": 2) powerful enough, for its size it packs a pretty good wallop; and 3) it is quiet, as our house is almost never empty and we have to try as hard as possbile not to make too much noise when we fuck.

I have asked her, and her response is "just get me something that works." I don't think she would be interested in the Hitachi, as she already has a Panasonic Panabrator. She used that all the time before we had kids, but it became less and less popular as the kids grew older. Now, it just sits in the bottom of the closet. The poblems were: 1) too big and bulky, so it can't be stored between the mattess and springs like the pocket rocket, and not convenient for carrying around; 2) too loud, everyone in the house would know when it's being used; and 3) cord gets in the way.

She has tried a bullet vibe, but it was lacking in power.

Yeah, but I bet it sells better than a lot of other vibrators because it's on TV.

That thing isn't that amazingly loud and it makes the Pocket Rocket look pitiful as far as power. The ears of the rabbit, especially vibrate well.

This one looks interesting, although I am concerned about the cord. Those have a tencency to become disconnected at one end or the other.

Bullets are quite good and I have never had a issue with cord disconnection.
