“I see” Jack said watching as the food came and eating himself. His mind was a whirlwind however so it sounded like she wanted out of the family business but how badly. She wouldn’t reveal things to him because he was an outside which of course made his mission to get into the inner circle all the more crucial. If he could gain her trust and even be seen as an alley perhaps she wouldn’t need to be arrested after all.

“If you want my opinion a change of pace would be good” He finally said “I know your brother aren’t exactly for that idea but I’m never against change my self” he said looking down at his food.

"Well, change sounds easy but really, all you end up with is a mess.." Karli said, still eating her dinner. Which happened to be pretty good. A lot better than she had thought it would be and also, it had been a long while since she had a real burger.

"But, like I said, we'll see. Besides, messy is not a good thing with the family. I'm sure they told you that a lot."

“Messy might not be a good thing but change is” Jack countered eating his own food “At least that is what I have been told” He remarked eating his food in slow bites.

“In any case I want you to be successful and more importantly I want to protect you and watch your back I hard about what happened earlier” he said “I can make sure things like that don’t happen”
