Pussy shaving question

Hello,

I have started shaving my pussy a couple of months ago and recently I bought a little travel-sized electric razor since I was always a little nervous about accidentally cutting my delicate area with the regular razor. But I found the electric one doesn't shave as close.
I have a couple of questions about this shaving deal, so I'd love to hear some input from those of you who is doing it or has done it: One, what has been the most satisfactory method for you? Two, does repeated shaving alter the texture of the area (i.e, makes the skin thicker or not as soft, etc.)?
Thanks :)

Hi Corpus,
Welcome to Lit, before everybody jumps in I`ll let you know that this question has been asked and answered many many times, relax, how were you to know. Anyway the answers you are looking for are in the stickys at the top of the board.
Of course there are always those of us that will reply anyway. Can`t really answer your questions except to say that"Nothin` could be finer than to eat a bald vagina in the mornin`" (evening/afternoon etc.)

Welcome to Lit Corpus!! Hope you enjoy your stay....Quoll is right...you'll find everything you need to know about shaving in the sticky on the top of the How To Forum...but I don't recall ever reading anything on how shaving might change your skin down there. I don't really think it does. Mine is obviously more sensitive down there then the rest of my body so I make sure to remain moisturized and I also use an oil based exfoliate right after I shave, it keeps my skin soft and cuts down on the irritation....

I, too, am a newbie to shaving (and lit) and have read all of the threads in the sticky section pertaining to shaving, but I am wondering, what do you use as a moisturizer and/or exfoliate. I am having trouble deciding what seems to be working best. I want it to continue to feel as soft and smooth as it did when I first shaved. I have also read on other sites that some girls use deodorant to minimize bumps. Anyone had any luck with that?

I read about using deodorant as well...probably someplace on the Sticky...I've never actually tried it though so I can't tell you how it works. I have very very sensitive skin....so no matter what I use I get fairly irritated, but Balmex...the diaper rash stuff works pretty well as do Desitin...except Desitin leaves a white residue so I wouldn't use it if you're planning on getting any that night ;) Also, hydrocortizone cream works pretty well too.. As for the moisturizer, I just use whatever else I use on my body and I just got this great exfoliate from Origins it's kind of expensive but it smells like Lavender and keeps my skin really smooth

I use Bikini Zone Cream, which you can find at any drugstore. I just use a razor and shaving gel, have been for about ten years, so it's not a big deal to me, same as legs or underarms. I think people with really sensitive skin would have more troubles though...

Another cream you could try is Bepanthen, it is mainly used for cracked nipples and nappy rash, it is also higly recommended for tattoo aftercare and is great on chafing of any sort.

Possibly, or you could try the breastfeeding aisle;)

Could you imagine shopping at the Lit supermarket:p

Hmm, I`ll have two nubile nymphs um.. a couple of double enders and....

Thanks to all you guys for the suggestions. I might try some lanolin that I have - I hadn't thought about that until you suggested things for cracked nipples or diaper rash. The lanolin I have is left over from my breast-feeding, cracked nipple days and might be worth a try. It is really thick and I think would be good to moisturize. Thanks for all the help! and my parts thank you as well. ;)

Thanks for all the info, guys. I'll check the sticky...I am really new to the spot & haven't done much exploring, the times i've been to the site I usually just read the stories.

Magic, magic, magic.

In sensitive. Not regular. :D

I have to say...Magic never worked for me....it worked on my little test spot on my arm, but not down there...I was really hoping it would too...shaving can be such a pain sometimes when you're in a hurry....

Any hints or tips on finding a place to have one done? I'd like to try it out, but I have NO clue.

well i live in Ny so pretty much every upscale nail salon has a waxing room I usually get it done after my manicures...
depending on where you live call a salon and ask if they do it...
maybe start out getting it waxed to a small strip or a little triangle on top at first then see how you like it then do it completely..I love it I have been getting brazillians for years they feel like a babies bottom....and my salon does all sorts of silly things such as for valentines day they will shape it into a little heart..
let me know if you get one
I think you will love waxing as opposed to shaving:kiss:

doesnt waxing

hurt like a MFer? and are we talking waxing it all? sounds rippingly painful.......

Bikini Zone Cream is the cream I use after shaving , my skin is very sensitive so its a must ... I have also heard that witch hazel is very good for this ...

Avon also has an after shaving cream, and I have heard its very good, I have not had the chance to try it though ...

Magic...its a chemical hair remover, which you can buy on-line. I have personally never have seen it in a store.

*Although, I do have to say, that the new small bikini razors by Noxzema work great for delicate area trimming and up-keep

I had bad luck with those little razors. I always use a Venus triple blade... works like a charm....
